Classic diner menu and atmosphere meets all expectations for a great diner experience. This place has friendly staff, efficient service, and consistently good fare at affordable prices. Love that old school diner feel and a menu that mostly sticks to the basics of great diner food. We recommend any of their breakfast combo plates, since they’re generous serving sizes, and the banana split waffle as a decadent treat!

I like the environment. It was very home comfort. The food was very good. The haddock needs some salt. I enjoyed. I got to sit by the window and enjoy the sun rays pour in as I enjoyed my meal.

Philly steak and cheese omelet was delicious. Came loaded with steak. I love how hashbrowns were a choice for side as well. Wish that was a choice for other dishes instead of paying extra for it.

Great local breakfast spot with tasty food and a friendly staff. The prices are low and the portions are still large!

first off I definitely don't give five stars to every single restaurant I actually do consider of a lot of factors when giving reviews so to start off.

This is a super retro diner! The women in servers and cooks and chefs are amazing there I recently was passing by it going up to Connecticut a few times and I thought to myself huh that's cute I wonder if it tastes good over there and so this time I actually stop by and went in I was greeted almost immediately, and the ladies were doing some kind of contest involving Christmas songs so I thought that was kind of cool and cute it was a very friendly atmosphere the food is delicious as well as price friendly so you never worried about blowing out your wallet too much everything was definitely very reasonable given the inflation in times and definitely a place to stop by trust me this was one of the best diners I've ever had in my entire life so far and I've been to quite a few of them this is definitely one I'll be stopping by every time I pass by Connecticut and haven't had breakfast I wouldn't choose any other spot for more information I'll update this post later and correct any corrections that are needed definitely worth a five-star review and I will change my review based on how many times I go there and how often the service is met with the same quality.

Busy place and very good team of staff. Friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and tried Lemon lavender mimosas, different and refreshing. $40 for two people including mimosas.

I have been going to Cindys diner for 40 years. They never cease to amaze me. Doesn't matter if I go for breakfast which is always fantastic or dinner which are fair priced home cooked meals . I am always satisfied. Last night I had thier nightly special braised beef with mushroom gravy it was absolutely delicious.

We hit Cindy's on the way home from Newport. Fun, classic diner feel, awesome service and delicious food. The place was packed but it didn't seem anyone waited too long for their food. I had the avocado toast, which was delicious. My guy had regular bacon, eggs, toast and home fries and he enjoyed his meal as well. Home fries were extra crispy as requested. We would definitely eat here again.

They are always on their game at Cindy's, but on 10/26/23 everything was so darn delicious
The person who made my Tuna Club, although just a club, it was the best club i've ever had. Keep killing it. All I can say is Outstanding!!!!

Wow what a great find this eating establishment was. The moment I walked through the door the odor of the foods cooking made my belly grumbling even harder, boy was I hungry. The waitress was very personable and extremely attentive to our needs, the food came out quickly, and my belly was Thanksgiving satisfied! Everything was so yummy, if you're hankering for some great home cooked food this is the place you must go. I would recommend this for all, they serve breakfast all day and lunch, you will definitely leave with your belly singing the Thanksgiving Happy Dance. Enjoy y'all

Food was great, service was great, absolutely loved the decor inside. Little bit of a wait (10min) bc it was packed but the food didn’t take long at all. Can’t wait to come back

This is THE perfect little diner. Basic comfort food made well. Fantastic service. These people really care. Wide selection of bakery items as well. Whenever I'm in town, I stop here.

This place has become a tradition with me and my daughters when we are doing a daddy-daughter day. The food is great and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and prompt. They are definitely kid friendly. They have a little toy and book section in the back and it's become part of our tradition to bring something to leave and exchange something new when we visit. My kids even deem little things they see in stores as "let's get that for Cindy's!" During the summer they have a terrace on the side of the diner that they open and they usually set out some lawn games and toys for the kids nearby. Another part of our tradition of daddy-daughter days during these adolescent years is to visit playgrounds on a circuit tour during the day. Cindy's is almost like the first one of the day, and breakfast to boot! Can't speak highly enough of this place.
