My wife and I went to this Chinese restaurant Friday night. The place had a nice vibe, perfect for a quiet night out. We started with Crab Rangoon, which was crispy and creamy, and came with sweet and sour sauce 😋

For our main courses, I had Hunan Chicken with steamed rice. It was spicy and flavorful, but you gotta add peanuts to really make it pop! 🌶 My wife had the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was seasoned well and had big, juicy shrimp. 🍤 The Hot-and-Sour Soup was a good mix of spicy and sour 🍲

Overall, China Cottage was a good spot for food and atmosphere. Oh, and you gotta check out the fish tank while you're there! 🐠

I enjoy there food here. I sat down a couple times and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Usually I just pick up and go but the food overall is better than a lot of other places around. This is my go to if I want good, consistent, and quality cuisine. They even scrape your plate and box it for you lol

Greatest General Tsaos you can get in Ohio. No one does it better than China Cottage. Also this location had very nice workers. There was a very sweet old lady. If you havent been here I reccomend it to everyone.

I ordered orange chicken to go and got something spicy but it was still good, I can understand why there might of been a mixup being busy. The service was good I do recommend to come here.

Great restaurant to eat-in or take-out. Fast and friendly service plus delicious food. The restaurant's atmosphere gives you the feeling of being in an Asian country.

They did not offer what I wanted on their lunch specials today, so I just ordered from the dinner menu. Everything is very good.

I drive from 45 miles just to eat there and it's well worth it. In a nutshell it's the freshly cooked dishes with nice portions and great service.

The meal was a bit pricey but very good.
I can only afford to go there maybe once every 2 months.

Better fare than most Chinese restaurants. Spring rolls are great!

My wife got the stir fried fish with bean sauce and I got the Szechuan chicken. Both meals was cooked excellent. Our server was friendly , too.

We love this place! Best Chinese food in Dayton with the best service. I get the beef and broccoli with the potstickers and my husband gets the sizzling steak or the sesame chicken and the beef sticks.

Used to go here growing up. Returned today for the first time in a long time and the place is as good as ever. Definitely my favorite Chinese food in Dayton, and the best food in the Trotwood/Clayton/Englewood area. Wish I still lived closer to eat there more often!

New to Ohio and to the area, my husband has been craving Chinese food. We were very pleased with the service and food. Everything we had was excellent, portion sizes are good so you have leftovers for another day. Everything was fresh. We will definitely be back!
