Wayside Restaurant

This place is a little old-fashioned, but they get the job done. The service is always nice and the food is great. I think they could benefit from a nice deep cleaning (walls and chair rails). However, Wayside is great to grab some food at.

Just had a lovely meal here at Wayside. The food is excellent, the prices reasonable, and the service top notch. Whether you are local or just passing through this is a great place to have a relaxing meal.

Nice little location with diner type foods and a laid back atmosphere. We ordered dinner and everything came out hot and very fast. I really enjoyed hearing the ding of the bell from the kitchen to let the servers know food was ready, little things like that are what make a place fun to visit 😊.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and it was very good. Chicken was fresh and juicy with a nice seasoning on it with a fresh slice of tomato and lettuce, all of which was fresh. The fries were not greasy and had a nice crisp to them.
My husband ordered a pizza burger that he really liked. Our child ordered the grilled cheese with fries and really liked it.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be returning often to try out other options from the menu.

We come to visit our mother who lives at a memory care in Champion...I googled restaurants closeby...and discovered this lik' gem....Gosh...how delicious...it's not on the main road...but tucked away in the neighborhoods of Champion

When I went here service was great. The food was great if you’re out of town out of Columbus somewhere, you should really try it.

Hazel is a sweet lady. The whole group of people are friendly awesome people. Great little place for just 1 or 2 people but they can do groups for meetings and such.

An amazing small town restaurant. The selection was pretty good. We had a good sized party of 8 with everyone getting something different. No one had complaints of their meal. The food was really good with the portions being pretty good as well. Service was amazing and I wish I remember our servers name as she did a phenomenal job, was up beat and a good sense of humor about her as well that made the whole family enjoy our time even more.

Food was good, I get the Buffalo Grilled chicken salad. Very tasty! Mom usually orders the daily special or the Senior menu items. She got the meatloaf senior menu and said it was very good with mashed potatoes and applesauce.

Our waitress was the best, so kind and friendly, thank you Kelly, hope to see you again.
