Without getting into too many details. Charles was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He went over all of my options and he was very level, headed knowledgeable.

I should have posted this review over a year ago however I would highly recommend Root for any legal counsel. He got me great results and was hardworking on my behalf even at times I wasn’t the ideal client to represent he represented me well. The only minor issues I ever had was sometimes it was difficult to get an answer at his office. When Root does get the message he will be in touch and he will represent you well. I have given him many referrals Great attorney great guy!

I was very hesitant to hire Attorney Root for my legal issue due to his negative reviews. I actually called him and told him why I didn't want his services! I was trying to receive full custody of my niece who has major health issues and a domestically violent mother who was also homeless! This was very important to me and I was very thorough with my search for representation!
After I addressed the negative reviews I made the decision to hire him! BEST decision I have made to date!
He was very responsive to my questions and even called me on his time off to calm my fears down about the trial! He took charge and got me FULL CUSTODY in 3 MONTHS! Yes you read that correctly! He saved my niece the horror of a long drawn out custody battle and that saved us so much more time to start her healing! She is doing great and wont let Cerebral Palsy stop her!

I have used this attorney a few times, and I know friends and family who have used this attorney many times. Attorney Root is an extremely stand up individual, who works very hard for his clients and their rights.

I have witnessed attorney Root perform as a privately hired attorney, as well as a public defender in the City of Niles. Attorney Root performs ethically across the board whether privately hired, or a public defender.

Today I googled his name to look up his phone number, and noticed a review that speaks badly about him. That review is an extremely unfair and negatively biased review. I know two dozen people who have used this attorney and have been successful in their court cases.

I also find it funny that the prior said review, states "I don't know if they (the client) paid or not". I can guarantee if the client paid for Mr. Root's services- they would have been fully represented. Sounds like someone wasn't responsible and wanted to go out and blame an unpaid attorney for their lack of effort and irresponsibility.

Despite the other erroneous opinion, this guy is top notch, A+. No other attorney will fight harder. Dollar for Dollar, Attorney Robert Root is the best attorney hands down.
