Worth the drive! Be watchful of the expiration dates. But for the price I'm okay with a sealed expired by a couple months. I basically bought 3 months worth of food for 71$!!

I think their prices are great, and any date that says Best Buy a certain date only means it’s still good after that date it’s just better to use it before that date. Only things that say used by can really be out of date. Never had a problem with anything I’ve gotten there.

Local Amish owned. Fantastic prices on salvage groceries. I'm not fussy about if a can of soup has a ding in it so I'll gladly pay 25% of the regular store price for a dented can of soup! Great prices, friendly people, and easy to get to. My only complaint is that it can be very difficult getting around inside due to all the people shopping. But, in all fairness, that's not something I can blame on the business. It's simply people doing what I'm doing...taking advantage of ridiculously good prices.

This is a discount grocery store. Large variety of items from cereal, makeup, and frozen meats, and all in between. Make sure to check expiration dates, but truly insane deals! And the staff are so friendly and helpful.

If it’s a hike, don’t let it stop you! It’s worth checking out, I love it more than even Aldi. If I lived closer, it would for sure be my primary grocery store, but I love going every few months and stocking up on pantry items. Love this place!

Hurrah!!! They enlarged the store. Almost too big. Neat and well stocked shelves. I love shopping there. Sometimes have products from companies I've never heard of.

My favorite place to go for my dog and my protein powder, coffee, laundry items, and other general merchandise. People are very friendly.

You will save hundreds of dollars here. Go here for your family! I got a big basket of food for 30 dollars. I'm beyond thankful for the Amish and for God for providing cheap groceries for my family. God bless.

Good deals and best place I find on coffee and gf items

Our first salvage store was this one, over 7 years of dedicated shopping, me and my mom mainly shop here. Along the way we have spread the word on this store, it has been the only store that has cared about expiry dates not being more than 1-2 years from their expiry date per the type of product. Always clean, the port-a-john outside is always clean which makes a huge difference from most of us that live more than 30 minutes away. Friendly staff, during covid they were AMAZING, very respectful staff.

I do think the prices are going up and some of the things there are almost like buying at Walmart. You have to know your prices.

Can't stop there without getting stressed about the crowded aisles but I never fail to find a box full of food items for less than $25! Just crazy how much I stumble on of baking items, cleaning items, macaroni and cheese gallore, hamburger helper, neat toys or even have found a light up raft for my pool one year . It's worth aisle squeezing and I hear they are expanding....this I hope is not a rumor!

Best kept secret in Ohio.......Discount Store.......AKA Salvage Store. The store is Amish run, groceries plus odds and ends.

Absolutely love this store. Not only is it clean but you can get some awesome bargains. You do need to check expiration dates but that is common with scratch and dent stores. All the staff at South Side are all super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend checking it out.

Love this store. Great deals. Just be careful what you buy. Chips, crackers, beef jerky, things like that I have learned not to buy. Cleaning supplies, canned food, coffee all have saved me a lot of money buying there. Their store is clean, well organized and well stocked. Lately the store is very crowded. Makes it not so fun now. Go early in the morning if you can.

Amish owned and operated this is one of two Southside Discount Groceries. While prices have somewhat increased, these are still great places to get bargains! Definitely worth a look-see and you will almost always find some treasure to brag to your friends about! Join the fun and make a day of it.
