Fig Tree Bulk Foods

Third stop on our road trip. We learned there is a big difference between "bulk foods" and "salvage" foods. With bulk foods, the vendor may buy 500 pounds of flour, then divide it into 5 pound bags for sale. For salvage, the vendors may buy a pallet of 5 pound bags of flour that were torn. Given the Amish proclivity toward cleanliness and neatness, the bulk food stores are neat, colorful and a lot more expensive. Fig Tree had a wonderful selection of foods, candies, candy making and baking supplies. And a small deli with call-ahead option. And a clean and convenient rest room. Convenient parking.

This is a great place to buy bulk spices at a great price. They also have a nice selection of Walnut Creek Foods meats and cheese in the deli.

Nice selection of on site packaged nuts and spices with reasonable prices. Large deli department offers meats and cheeses. In addition, they sell candies and chips. Clean Christian friendly store definitely worth visiting.

I love this amish store! The staff are incredibly friendly. There is a wide assortment of pie filling, candy, snacks, drink mixes, cheeses, deli meat, and more bulk goods! I can't recommend stopping by here enough!

Nice people and fresh cheese's & meats. Many bulk food items and supplies. If you call ahead they'll get your cheese or deli meat order ready for you so you don't have to wait. It is a very clean store well organized easy to find things and they had a lot of candy making items.

Lunched with my wife today and each of us found the ambiance, the food, and the service to be excellent. Try the "pick two" or the "pick three" offerings for real value and culinary delight.

If your a baker or love canning you will love this store. Small & large quantities. The prices are great & they ship.

The help was very helpful and knew exactly where stuff was for my recipes.
