The Cardinal Center

Cabin looked like the finish carpenter may have had cognitive issues? But it was comfortable and clean. Adding a two burner cooktop would make this a true "Deluxe" cabin in my opinion. If you're hungry AND it's raining your choice is limited to "go hungry". There is no protection for the outdoor grill and building a fire without the ability to flip the grill out of the way was not amusing. The people who work for Cardinal are awesome, no complaints there. Golf cart, and the facilities were pretty good. I might recommend better maintenance of the golf cart paths, some stone and a land plane would do wonders. The volume of standing water on the paths after a thunderstorm makes for a pretty poor experience.

Can't really complain about this place. It has been here since I can remember. Stayed here I believe 2 times before I started working for the big Boss man. But in my opinion the only thing I'd recommend would be like a little arcade room or something for the kids to do besides swimming. During the shoots and stuff I'd do something like a hunting safety course or teach the younger kids outdoor stuff, like survival. Something to go along with the camping experience besides relaxing 😎

I didn't camp out or use any of the cabins, but I did shoot at this place for Carry Optics Nationals and it is a huge and impressive place. I am amazed at the number of shooting activities that they support and I am looking forward to shooting at future matches for this establishment. The Location was quick and easy and you didn't have to drive out to BFE to get to it.

I love everything about this place. Plenty of camping spots, activities and events. Close to good food and brewery.

My family and I camp there a couple times a year. We really like it!!!

Only stayed overnight but the bathhouse is nicest I've seen. Every shower is a private room with sink and toilet. Don't know how the shower is, didn't used it. Basketball court could use some attention but it works. Dog walk area has plenty of space. Larger than most. Indoor pool can't tell you anything about it. Pull through sites are the best we've ever seen. Long enough for our car, truck and camper and probably 2 more cars if you had them. Lots of space between sites as well.

We have been here many times (The Willards) but this visit has BY FAR been the best. Halloween here is awesome. The staff is all friendly , fun and helpful.Trick or treat ,candy bar Bingo ,karaoke, haunted house (So cool) , hayrides , popcorn and cider and all kinds of Halloween fun. This will be our Halloween camping spot from now on. Thanks Cardinal for going above and beyond for your patrons !

First time here and first night here. I was not expecting this trip to be like our typical camping trips since this was more about an event than camping. A bit of advice there is an East and West end to the V sites. We obviously missed the first section and set up on the wrong sites. Nevertheless, the next morning we were able to resolve that we have functional site awaiting us. So we packed up to set up again. 🙃

I appreciate the customer service and support we received to get this resolved. I can't remember the guys name that took the time to drive my husband to the correct section to resolve the mix-up. But thanks for EVERYTHING!

We’ve stayed here several times. It’s a very convenient stop for the night after we leave New York and head to destinations southwest. We enjoy the indoor pool since it seems to be fall every time we visit.

Unique campground and place to go shooting. Nice shaded sites

Great place to camp. Conveniently close to Columbus, easy commute. The campground has a lot to offer whether your visiting the sporting facilities or just looking for a place to camp. They have a variety of sites: sites with shade, site to accommodate large or tall vehicles, secluded sites, cabins, etc. Parking is no fuss, easy and the hookups are great! They have a nice playground, amazing indoor pool, pavilions, a scenic pond with huge fish, and a large indoor recreational room. The facilities are well maintained and the showers and restrooms are always clean. I highly recommend this campground!

Almost everything seems brand new. Hands down THE BEST shower house EVER! Warm inside pool that the kids loved, rec room, pond with fish, very nice deck and banquet hall for weddings and parties. Nice camping sites with full-hookup and VERY inexpensive. We only paid $30-something a night on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND for full-hookup! Only two minuses I could find - one, there was no fire ring at our campsite so we had to borrow one from an empty campsite. Two, the camp store was very small. They also were out of firewood for sale this weekend as the prior weekend they had been completely full with a huge sporting clays shooting event. Very friendly staff, quiet, nice people. We hope to go back soon!

Cardinal is a nice campground with a lot going for kids and parents. As an added bonus you can bring your firearms and have fun. Indoor and outdoor ranges.

We had a comfortable stay at the campground. Sites were long, wide & level enough, well maintained. Even tho our electric pedastal & water was a good distance
(Maybe 20’) away from us, we had enough electric line and water hose to plug in. Didn’t see the same for all sites, just the one we were on. It rained and was chilly so we didn’t utilize the shooting ranges at all. Had satellite for the football games and we were good. We’d stay here again.

Top of the line when it comes to shooting facilities. I was here for a trap shoot and it was run very smoothly. Vendor areas were nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Trap shooting, international trap and sporting Clay's all represented here. I did not see a skeet field but I wasn't looking for them either.

We stopped in on our way from Saskatchewan to Quebec, after hours on a Sunday. The manager came down right away, found us a site, and let us know everything we needed, including a weather warning.
The indoor pool was a welcome relief to our kids as it was raining, and the clean and well-lit shower house was wonderful after several days on the road.

Visiting for SCTP Trap Shooting Nationals. Very well organized and the staff was excellent. Any technical difficulties were handled rapidly so that the games could continue smoothly. I liked that the vendors were split between tents & buildings; lots of food options on site and in the area. The Sporting Clay course looked awesome (did not have time to take a spin, tho). Hope to be back next year.

We always have a great time at the Cardinal Center. The staff is helpful and hospitable and the facilities are first class. The people are all very nice there. I took my boy scout troop for a shooting campout and everything was fantastic.

I find the camp grounds quite spacious for my camper. I shoot trap at many of their events. The staff go out of their way to make my trap shooting experience worth traveling for. I look forward to attending ding the Cardinal center every year.

The activity area for the kids is clean and safe. The pool is hands down quality.The cardinal center camping activity area makes a great family trap shooting experieence.

I've done the sporting clays at this location twice and plan to return. I had never been to a sporting clays course before going here, but I was very impressed. Overall, the course was well maintained. Despite shooting terribly, I had a lot of fun. Very infrequently (I think twice), it seemed that a clay would not throw or would get thrown into trees/brush before becoming available to shoot. There was a phone number to call on the score card for help, but we never bothered.
