Friendly camp host and well maintained bathrooms and grounds. We stayed there for a while and loved it so much! We saw so much wildlife and my daughter learned a lot being out there. We will most definitely be returning!

Perfect location for fly fishing base camp. Camp host is friendly and informative. Limited number of sites, well maintained.

Attendant on site. Restroom, grills and camping sites available. There is a parking fee. A daily parking fee is $7.00 an overnight parking fee i believe is $22.00. The highway above is not loud at all. Beautiful views.

The site is exquisite. The photos attached show what it looks like waking up at 7am and opening up the tent from the most upper campsite. across the river, there's a path for the animals traveling along. some people have spotted moose. I spotted a couple deer while we were here. The camp hosts are absolutely phenomenal. They sell firewood there as well. You should prefer to buy from the site you stay at. It's about an hour from Denver, so super convenient, very beautiful, and easily accessible. The ground is all gravel rocks and dirt. Lots of different kinds of ants, but they're sparse at the sites. They tend to stay away from people. Overall, it's an amazing experience and we'll be back as often as possible :)

Loved this campground! It was so beautiful and perfect for our toddler’s first time. We somehow forgot the stakes for our tent at home but Don rescued us and let us borrow some! And we loved his dog Pineapple!

Early season first come first serve $21, around 10 sites. Right next to the road so some noise, but also next to the flowing river so beautiful views and a lot of people fishing in the area.

Nice little spot. Please help keep it clean, there are no trash services, plan on packing all garbage out.

This is our favorite camping spot!!! The host and hostess are so kind and amazing! We left our hot dog buns and hamburger buns at home and the nearest store was closed. They were so kind and gave us some buns for dinner. We will go back every year to this spot. The nearby hiking is so beautiful. The campground is clean and beautiful and the site is very well maintained, not to mention the Platte River runs right by it, great for tubing. We can't wait to go again soon!!

My husband and I really love it here. The grounds and restrooms are very well kept and right next to the river!!! Kym and Jon (camp hosts) have spent a lot of time trying to keep everything nice. They are such nice people, if you've forgotten something, and they have it, they will always help you out. Found out recently they accepted a new job and will no longer be there, which is too bad... Hopefully the next host can do half as good a job as they have. We will continue to go back as often as we can.

This is a gorgeous spot and the hosts are super friendly and go out of their way to help. The whole area is spotlessly tidy and the lavatories are the cleanest and freshest we saw on our trip. We will definitely be back... The fishing was pretty good too!!

Beautiful little spot along the river. Great place to do some fly fishing. Don, who was working there, was absolutely amazing! And his dog, pineapple, was pretty awesome, too!

The hosts were really great people, and the campground is a solid riverside campground in a fantastic location.

If you need to commune with nature, but also would like your family to not hate you for a long drive or for not providing the necessities of a fire ring grill and bathroom, you need look no further.

This particular camp ground will never be forgotten. I've nothing but nice things to say about the camp ground ítself, however, it's secluded enough and dark enough to make you uneasy. Unless there's moon light it's pitch black. All you can see is stars and other thiñgs that may be in the night sky.
