I had the best day of trout fishing in my life today, period. I went on a full day guided trip with Jeremy (the shop owner) and was easily one of the best experiences of my life. Landed double digits of some big boys.

This is easily my favorite fly shop & it's near some of the best fishing I've found in Colorado. A must stop. 🤙

First time fly fishing for myself and my son. Did the full day fly fishing with a guide. Worked with Charlie to set this up. We had no equipment and no experience. Curt was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! Had the patience to teach my son and I the basics of fly fishing and was able to hook about 8 trout. The equipment was top notch. These guys are the real deal and know their business. Thanks fellas for making this a awesome experience!

A great place to get outfitted up for fishing the river. They study what is hatching and what the fish are eating and base their flies on that information. They have super knowledgeable staff and have always been happy to answer my questions. The also sell all the gear you need to hit the water so you do not have to worry about forgetting anything once you are in the Deckers area.

A must do if you are near the Denver area. We stayed in a cabin owned by the shop and also spent a half day with Jeremy, the shop owner, learning to fly fish. There was not one downside of this trip. Jeremy was patient with teaching us how to fly fish and I actually caught and released three fish. The whole experience was so positive that we now have an incredible, relaxing hobby. We've been to Deckers a few times but nothing beats this visit. Thank you Flies and Lies!!!

These guys know their stuff. We went on our first guided fly fishing adventure and had a great time out with Rob the guide, who showed us the ropes and helped us hook at least 5 fish. Very patient with a city slicker like me who's never fished before. Now I'm "hooked"

Sent these guys an email to set up a guided trip, and they responded immediately. I went on a full-day wading trip and had Dalton as my guide. It was an amazing experience, pulled out a bunch but had so many opportunities. They did an excellent job setting me up at good points of the river, and I’ll definitely be back when friends come in town for a trip

Small shop, but very helpful. Saved my butt when I was there for a 3 day fishing trip and forgot my wading boots. Did a two person guide deal with them in the winter and they got my friend on fish his first time ever fly fishing.

Great bunch of guys in the shop. Always happy to help by giving honest advice on flies and exact areas and techniques to use. Great for beginners to experts.

Rented a cabin from Flies and Lies and over all it was a great experience from start to finish. Awesome price, nice cabin with wood stove and firewood, next to the Platte river in a semi private setting. We will be back!!!!

Convenience is the king for this place. They have everything you could if you do happen to drive to deckers and forget some of your gear. They also have a good selection of flies for the local water.

Very friendly staff, was able to get information about what flies fish are currently taking; Prices on flies were very reasonable.
