La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ruidoso Downs

My wife and daughter and I stayed 4 nights 10/31- 11/04 and I really don't have any complaints. The breakfast they had every morning was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We asked for a room away from the highway and they gave us an upgraded room on the back. It was very comfortable, nice and roomy. Very nice staff, also the hotel was clean and kept up to date.

Starting with Customer service is great at La Quinta it’s always a pleasant stay when we stay there. It’s clean the staff is friendly and courteous. Located perfectly where you can go to Walmart or the casino or restaurants.

Very clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. We appreciated the welcome bag of treats and bottled water upon check-in. We will happily return for future visits to Ruidoso

It was a pleasant stay. Location is great. Front desk staff are courteous. Good customer service. Clean smell right away. Complimentary lemon water station is a nice touch. Small pool with hot tub and a small fitness room is a plus. It smells clean everywhere which is great. No smudge or pieces of hair in the bathroom which tells you they clean it well. The sheets show signs of been bleached. Soft, comfortable. Clean which I love. I didn't have to inspect mattress covers for signs of bed bugs which is the first for me. I ALWAYS check. But because this hotel smelled clean everywhere, especially the room, I was comfortable and happy. Big kudos to housekeeping! Breakfast was a nice plus as well. There was a nice lady, Debra that constantly wiped down counters and replenish food. She was really nice. I love this place. I highly recommend it to anyone whose pet peeve is cleanliness and smell. Will definitely stay here again when in town. Thank you ☺

Room did not have towels on check in. Office did supply them when called. Door lock had issues reading keys

I decided to pull in here after driving a 6 hour drive plus having my toddler with me. let’s just say it was a long exhausting evening , I was dead tired , and I’m sure a little crabby . I will say the lady that worked at night greeted me with a smile , and was quick to get me checked in with no problems at all . She even assisted me by grabbing my suitcase and walking me to my room while I was holding my sleeping child and my diaper bag and my purse . Definitely will be coming back here next time I drive through town.

Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It even smelled clean which is surprising with it being pet friendly. We had a wonderful stay.

The ladies at the front desk were amazing after we needed 2 rooms last minute. (thank you so much!!) Their pool was soo clean and lots of fresh towels. Their onsite guest laundry room was a life saver for our unexpected additional night on our trip home. The beds were comfortable and the room had so many places to charge your phone with a plug or USB.

Found this hotel last minute after being let down by the best western up the road. Adam was extremely welcoming and polite. I can't thank him enough. He made sure we were happy with our room and even provided maps of the town since it was our first time visiting. The suite we stayed in was very clean and spacious! Also loved that it was pet friendly. Will definitely be staying here next time we visit again! Thank you Adam!

Another great La Quinta! Big clean rooms and the staff is so polite and helpful. I only ask that they learn to make coffee. Thank you for the great service.

It is going through renovations, so a lot of construction materials and vehicles around.

This place was great. Highly recommend!!! Hotel had been updated not too long ago! One of the nicest rooms we've stayed in. Room was very comfortable, clean and smelled fresh. Continental breakfast was back and being served. Staff was disinfecting and wiping down counters often. I really enjoyed my breakfast. 24 hour coffee available. Hot and cold cereal, muffins, yogurt, milk(s), apple and orange juice, hard boiled eggs, banana and little oranges. Adam, at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We will be staying here again in the future.

Very nice, clean hotel. We had a bad experience with Avis rental car, and was basically stuck here for 2 days without any transportation. Faith, Neva and Angie were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone else who needs a place to stay.

Last-minute booking, and I found my return home for upcoming stays. To the reason why, my kids and I were traveling from out-of-state for hours. We had reservations at a different hotel in Ruidoso, NM. However, at our arrival to the previous location, the front desk staff made us feel very uncomfortable. I simply said, "Thank you, but no, thank you." I'll never go back to the hotel again due to how their staff reflects that particular hotel. Thus, my kids and I returned to driving. By chance, we arrived here at LA Quinta. The Front Desk Staff Marissa was so empathic and patient with me. She assisted us with our needs, and I can not thank her enough for being understanding and helping me feel at home and secure.

I stayed here for two nights over Christmas. There was an issue with another guest and the staff handled it perfectly. My room/bathroom was very clean. The hotel was clean overall. It is also quiet except for the person who caused a disturbance one night I was there. Once that was settled, then there wasn't an issue. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

Friendly staff fast check in- great room the bed felt comfortable pillows are the flat ones so I’ll just use two - huge room the hotel is very nice inside very modern feel I do recommend

Very Clean rooms. Nice comfortable beds. Great price and only 30 minutes away from the mountain (Ski Apache). The breakfast is free and pretty good! Overall great experience. I would say this is one of the nicer and more affordable places to stay. They also have an indoor hot tub and pool. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of snowboarding. The rooms are also pet friendly and service was great very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed three nights, any really enjoyed it. The room was was big and clean lots of space. The management was out standing, very nice people. Will be coming back to stay again.
