Log Cabin Restaurant

First time visiting this restaurant. The porkchops were delicious and tender. The Cinnamon French Toast was just as good. Will definitely plan a return visit. We never had to ask for coffee refills, and a very intimidating visitor randomly showed up. It was a good breakfast.

You absolutely MUST have the French toast here!!! The best I’ve ever had n I am quite picky. We had the banana peanut butter kind! Then went back n had the Reese’s French Toast! This place is AMAZING!

We were very impressed by the service and food of this restaurant. Breakfast was very impressive and will be going back asap.

So delicious!! Small place, worth the wait. Always a wait but will be longer on Sundays. Filled with metal art on walls for purchase. It's cozy but felt like we had plenty of room. Nice staff. Attentive & accommodating. So many menu choices!

A wonderful breakfast joint. I got the green chili and cheese omelette. It was huge! A good deal for your $. My friend got the cherino and stuffed French toast with strawberries & cream cheese. She let me have a bite. It was so yummy. My taste buds were dancing.

Best breakfast hands down!! Our first time eating here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! My husband and I had the hoss omelette, biscuits and gravy, and one pancake each and it was so much food, but oh so good!! Next time we will definitely share!

Long wait but worth it!!! My husband and I both ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy. We also ordered their carrot cake cream cheese pancake! Everything was so good! We will definitely be back!

A great little spot to go eat with the family. The menu has a lot of options for everyone. The cup of chili is great.

Let me start to say the wait is long, but so worth it! We believed our waiter had super speed since we didn’t expect quick service once we were seated! Drinks were brought out within a minute of ordering them and food was done within 10 minutes! I had the pork chops, they were so tender and very well seasoned. My husband got the Hoss omelette(which was HUGE), he said it was the best omelette he ever had. We both understood why this restaurant was so popular. My children loved their waffle and pancake, my oldest son also loved my pork chops which made me regret not getting two! We realized the wait was mainly due to limited indoor seating and large parties. If we ever visit the area again, we will for sure make a reservation ahead of time!

Absolutely incredible! We were seated right away and service was amazing. When they brought out our food, they gave us warm butter for the biscuits. Don’t think I’ve ever gotten this anywhere else I’ve ever been! We shared The Hoss and Peach Cobbler stuffed French toast. Absolutely delicious! Everything was amazing! Biscuits and gravy, coffee… everything! We will definitely be coming back here again!

Our family eats breakfast here every time we visit Ruidoso which is about 4-5 times a year. We had breakfast twice on our recent trip. Staff is kind and professional, they make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Five stars on everything! Food is delicious, especially the sausage! Loved it!!

Amazing experience this week at Log Cabin! We had a wonderful server who told us it was just her, and she did an exceptional job! She was efficient, organized, friendly, and very informative when I almost ordered green chile on something, but let me know it was beyond scorching hot. I appreciated the information and ordered the breakfast sandwich and a side of HOMEMADE biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was one of the best I've ever had, and the hashbrowns were phenomenal. My fiance loved his pecan waffles. Food was so rich, flavorful, and hearty. I will make this a repeat every trip to Ruidoso. Thank you for amazing food and lovely service!

I am blown away at the customer service care and culture of this restaurant. We had to step away and lost our spot in line and they were gracious enough to seat us immediately. I knew we were dealing with something special at that moment. Our server Sterling was knowledgeable kind and super attentive what a great guy!! Now onto the food. The French toast was amazing! Coffee was tasty as well! But the star here was the Shrimp Eggs Benedict what a treat for the tastebuds. You can tell this restaurant uses high quality ingredients! The pancakes were absolutely amazing as well! Pair this with the cute cabin mountain vibe and decor and this restaurant is a 10/10! Thanks for reminding me that quality home cooked meals and good customer service can still be had at wonderful establishments like this!

Best breakfast I've ever had! Food and service are both AMAZING. There's usually a long wait, so get there early, but SO worth it! Waitstaff is phenomenal!

Log Cabin is on the to-do-list every time we visit. Very good food. Great service and it is worth every bite. The Hoss is my fav omelette and they have great coffee. It's all great and you should try something different with every visit. You won't be disappointed.

With a group of 14, the staff was amazing, accurate and wildly friendly. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meal and no one was left wanting. The artwork on the walls and the friendly environment was exactly what we were looking for. I can't wait to go back.

We wanted to try some thin different this time and decided on this place. Glad we did!

Greeted by smiling friendly faces, the wait was normal for a Saturday morning, and the decor was fun to look at.

The FOOD IS SO GOOOOOOD! Had the stuffed French toast and the Greek omelet. Oh man! Heaven!

The absolutely perfect way to end a romantic weekend getaway. They started us with decent coffee and then the food can out... THE GREATEST GRAVY... EVER. The hashbrowns were great, and my chicken fried steak was hearty. Other than just being a good all around meal, the portions were very generous. And the price wasn't bad at all. We will be back for sure. 😛

You may have to wait in line, but the food was awesome. Waitress was very friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Always the best no matter what I order! Not sure if this is a compliment or not but, be ready to unbutton your jeans or wear yoga pants as the portions, no matter what you get, are huge. And, everytime we've been here, customer service is at its best.
