King Soopers Pharmacy

I typically have a good response and good experiences with this pharmacy. After my last prescription, it was filled with the wrong dosage, but they fixed it within 5 minutes.

There will always be mistakes, but it's the response to those mistakes that make the difference.

These folks are generally very on point. My only complaint is they do not accept paper scripts anymore which can make filing on a weekend difficult...

This review is for the customer facing positions at the pharmacy. Despite being short staffed and backed up after a long holiday weekend, they were still very friendly and polite. Working hard with a smile on their face, that’s more than I can say for most customer service anymore.

This is by far the BEST pharmacy around! The actually answer their phones! And they are always very friendly, especially this young man - he goes out of his way to make the customers happy. My husband and I are so done with the Walgreens on Broadway. You have to wait over an hour on the phone, with Walgreens - then they hang up on you. The line is always 18-22 people standing as they closed their drive-thru. It is night and day between Walgreens at this location and King Soopers. King Soopers have been so kind and helpful. cant wait to get all of our scripts transferred over. And so many other people are doing this also. Thank-u King Soopers for being so wonderful. It is greatly appreciated!

The only reason I still use this pharmacy is that they happen to be the cheapest by far for one of my daughter's prescriptions. They take forever to fill the prescriptions, and often when the Rx shows it's ready on the app/website, it's not. If you want to use this location, plan ahead and have lots of patience.

Never answer phone. Had they, this could have easily been a 5 star. Instead, I go to pick my prescription(called in at 830am, doctor left message on RX CALL IN VOICEMAIL). It's not ready, more specifically, not even in system as they had not checked voicemail. Once I get there, 30 minutes to verify rx was called in, then told another 30 minutes to fill. Unacceptable.

The older lady with the brunette hair is always so kind although she has no control over the fact that it can take 3-5 days to get your prescription refilled. They tell you to call it in 48hrs in advance, they'll tell you it's ready them you show up and they want to tell you to come back at the end of the day. If the pharmacist can't handle filling prescriptions in a timely fashion then he should be released from his duties. They'll lie to you and try to say you never called in the refill or blame it on their computer system for saying it is ready.

Prescriptions are rarely available when they are supposed to be after receiving automated notifications. I asked the pharmacist if a medication interacts with alcohol and she states "Every medication interacts with alcohol" and left it at that, no elaboration on what the dangers might be. Wow, is that all they teach pharmacists in school these days? However, all the technicians are quite nice and generally helpful.

Service is lacking tremendously, the staff literally do not care about the customer or even the impression that they are doing a quality job. Medication is one of the few products where mistakes are intolerable as they can lead to deadly results, but this pharmacy has shown time and again that they are mistake-prone and that's simply not an option when choosing a pharmacy. I moved all my prescriptions as I wasn't willing to take the chance. They may be overworked and understaffed, but excuses won't bring anyone back from the dead. If they are that incapable of operating safely, Kroger should close the pharmacy at this location!

The employees at this pharmacy do double, triple duty all the time. The fact that they are as kind, considerate, and still helpful is nothing short or a miracle with all the abuse they have to take. The manager is to blame for the complicated and extremely slow service here. THESE PEOPLE NEED MORE HELP AND SUPPORT! The manager needs to do their job and provide a healthy working environment for their employees before they just completely burn out and leave! It's the cheapest and closest pharmacy for us but almost anywhere else would be a better to go, to if you can! Almost hopeless!

The little blonde with glasses who is The pharmacy manager. Just told me that she doesn’t know who I spoke to. And that I am a liar. I take medication for migraines. My migraine medication was missing 17 pills in the box. It was sealed in a bag with the receipt and staple to the outside when it was opened up on camera there was only one pill inside so the pharmacist was a temporary pharmacist said a robot did it but he was gonna look into it and look at the cameras will nobody looked at the cameras at their pharmacy only the packing center. And my pills are missing. Nobody knows who’s responsible and I will never do business with the king Soopers pharmacy again. They are crooks and somebody stole my medication and charged me for it. They’ve got a bunch of young kids running around this pharmacy all under the age of 45 aside from the Asian pharmacist who doesn’t have time to talk to you because he has to clock in or out.

Don’t schedule vaccines here. Made an appointment online for an end of day appointment when I was off of work. They said they couldn’t give me the flu vaccine and I’d have to wait 30 minutes because they had prescriptions to fill. Two employees working who made it very obvious I was an inconvenience and should come back on a different shift. Store almost empty. No one waiting anywhere near the pharmacy.

The staff are overworked and underpaid. Twice now my prescription was not available in a timely fashion (3 days) due to the pharmacy being "short-staffed." Kroger is posting record profits but can't afford to pay a decent wage to keep critical, essential employees. You lost my business.
