Dependable Cleaners

12/04/2023: The store manager was very kind, taking special care to make note of even the smallest of stains that I pointed out! While not all of the stains (the ones likely set after drying) were able to come out without damaging some of my items (I was made aware of this), everything else came out clean and neatly pressed!

Super friendly staff, I have never had an issue getting my clothes on time and have never had any issues with them on return. Definitely will keep using them for my luxury items

Seeing this place with only 1 star reviews made me interested as to how their business actually functioned without going bankrupt and considering that this cleaners is closest to my home I decided to try them out for myself and give them an honest review. I brought them my burgundy hounds tooth sport coat which was desperately in need of a cleaning as it had been through rain recently and was dirtier than any coat I've ever seen. I didn't expect a miracle I was just hoping that they would get it looking normal. The price was reasonable at $13 with tax and they charged me after it was completed which I consider an honest practice. The finished product was up to my expectations with no dirt spots remaining and it smells new and fresh again. Their customer service could be improved a tiny bit but working in sales I have impossibly high expectations for such things. One common theme for reviews is that they have damaged shirts, I only wear washable shirts so I will no be using them for that service. Overall they seem like a good place and I will bring them my business again. 4 stars for their work and I'll change it too 5 if they ever impress me with their customer service in an unexpected way.

The new hours make it incredibly difficult to do business with this location. Gone are the days when you could spin by after work to pickup the dry cleaning. They close at 3:00 PM!

All in all, a fairly average dry cleaner. They’ve gotten a few stains out, but they’ve also broken a half dozen buttons. Your mileage may vary.

Very expensive but they are clean and big. Nice machines.

So I was in a hurry and decided to try this place. The reviews on price are 100% spot on but you can decide for your self. Here is what I had

15 Items total
- 2 x Sport coats
- 4 x Sweaters
- 9 x Standard button up shirts

Total Cost = $197

I took in 7 shirts and 6 pairs of pants in which would normally cost me around $50. Well when I asked the price they said they would give me a 20% discount the first time and that would bring the total down to $130😱😱😱. Who in their right mind would pay $10 an item after a 20% discount. No wonder this place has 2 stars...I should have checked the reviews before wasting my time!

I would not recommend this cleaners. I was shocked to see they charged me $17 to wash and iron a shirt because it contains some silk. I have taken it to many other cleaners before and it has always been treated like all the other shirts without problem. The price for a shirt is about $5 whereas it is usually $2 or $3, so they are way overpriced. The service was handled by very young people who when I complained had no authority to correct or change anything to respond to my complains. I had to go back 3 times until I found the manager there who could address my complaints. I will never go there again and hope you won't either.

Very disappointed in the customer service. The manager Cheryl told me about the fact that they would be late having my husbands dry cleaning ready which means that we both had to completely reschedule our days and go out of our way to pick it up before his business trip. Then I asked if they took a 20% off coupon I found online - and they do take it - but only if you give it to them first. They will not apply it to the order if you drop off your items and bring a coupon with you to pay...And they cannot simply cancel and re-submit the order to include the discount.

I am so upset by the ridiculous coupon "policy", outrageous prices and nasty attitude of the manager. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

And I suggest finding a new manager. Had she been kinder and more understanding of me being upset by the fact that they cannot under any circumstances apply the coupon, I would have moved past it, but wow... she needs to understand how to effectively handle customer issues. I wasn't upset with her initially, I was shocked to hear about the policy and still in "sticker shock" from hearing our total bill! You are in Customer Service, it's not about your ego. Had she tried to find a way to take care of her customers, the reviews would be much higher than a 1.4 star...

After we picked up the suit, my husband left shortly after for a business trip and needed the suit for a big presentation. He laid the “dry cleaned” suit on his bed this morning and noticed it is covered in water stains. It looks worse that when we brought it in. I posted photos so you can truly see what you’re going to get here. My neighbor told me a few days ago her shirt from the same place had stains all over the sleeves after it was taken to Dependable Cleaners.

The manager has been difficult to work with from the start so getting our money back should be interesting...

If I could give less than one star I would. Extremely poor customer service (including eye rolling at me) and just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I usually use another dry cleaners in town, but happened to be right next door and thought I'd try them out. I brought in two dresses (very basic) and one shirt to be dry cleaned. Before handing over my items, I asked the lady how much the dresses (plural) would be. She looked at them and said, "$17." I though, seems reasonable! So I gave them a shot.
I just went in today to pick up my items. Imagine my shock when I was told to pony up $34 just for the dresses!! It takes a lot to make me upset, but this was not right. I asked how this could be so expensive, and that I'd never paid so much in my life for two very basic dresses. The gal came out from back, rolled her eyes (thought I couldn't see) and said, "I would have never told you just $17." YES YOU DID. On top of that, they don't take Amex, but that's just an aside. Avoid this place at all costs. I will never return and will pass along my thoughts to anyone else on social media sites.

This place is awful. The people working there are friendly enough, but all my dress shirt collars came back wrinkled/creased and they destroyed a wool sweater (only been worn once and looks like it’s been washed 50 times)and a cocktail dress (now 2 sizes too small). Not to mention how expensive they are. DO NOT spend your money here. They don’t take care of your clothes!!

The only thing dependable about Dependable Cleaners is their poor customer service. The countless 1 star reviews on Google do not lie. I was in a pinch and needed a ladies suit coat cleaned same day as my wife just finished an interview and was flying to another the next morning. Same day Saturday dry cleaning is clearly listed online so I decided to give it a shot. I arrived at 8am (when they open on Saturday) and confirmed with the clerk that I could pick the coat up at 4pm on the same day. The clerk said "yes, not a problem". When I arrive at 4pm, a different clerk informs me that the coat will not be ready until Monday because the machines have been broken. Clearly that does not work since my wife was leaving the next morning at 6am on a flight. Either the first clerk knew the machines were broken and lied to me about same day service, or they really do not care about their customers and the "same day" service listed on the website and front door is inaccurate. There was no way for them to return the coat to me and my only option was to wait for the coat to be cleaned and picked up 2 days late and my wife without a suit coat for an interview. Lessons learned, trust the Google reviews since they are correct, and never trust a dry cleaner that does not do the cleaning on premises.
