Fascinating history, especially if you are a river lover. Great tour guide & tour. Definitely worth a visit at the next open house.

Being provided by volunteers, these events (the open house falls on one Saturday each month in the summers) are very informative and friendly. There's usually a book table and guides will show you around the whole place.

Great place, very cool history and friendly volunteers. They when made a handicap parking spot available in the dirt parking area. It's a fun place to poke around if you're looking for an escape from fort Collins
