Javi’s Chicken And Churros

Food was the best 👌🏼💯 Seriously can’t say enough about how delicious everything was!!! The customer service was outstanding as well! It was my husband’s birthday, and he brought out free churros on top of that and those were delicious. I unfortunately didn’t get a picture but to die for 🤤 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Probably the best Mexican food I've had in the US, and I'm a taco junkie. The birria tacos are the best! The rice is amazing and super flavorful. The beans were perfect. Medium size portions were perfect for my wife and I to share. Street parking was plentiful and free right in front.

First time here and we loved it!
Got the quesabirra and consomé and it was delicious. Also the michelada had so much flavor.
Will be back soon.

Dicen que son parientes de los tacos Chukis de Seattle. Se los creó. It's worth making a pit stop here. This place is delicious on so many different levels. The chicken is served full or by the piece. Very juicy with a great seasoning. You can't best the price either great value. Best of all the staff is all super friendly and very helpful. A+. Enjoy this new little treasure in Grandview.

I came out here on a business trip. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this place. I'm from LA and I know good Mexican food. This place's food is great!!! The 2 ladies that work there are fast and are friendly. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 out of the 3 days I went back. I will go again when I return in December. I wish I would have taken more pictures. But it's painted black with with Catrina n Catrino art.

5 stars, what else is there to say? In a world where "good" is a dime a dozen, Javi's is great. Portion sizes large, quality off the charts. I'd recommend Javi's 100 times.

Best Birria Tacos I’ve ever had 🥰 I’ve had many but none top this, the Mango 🥭 Micheladas are also so very delicious 🤤 and dessert is a must churros 🥰 I’m in heaven wish we had one here in Yakima 🙏🏼 but the drive is so worth it🥰

Javi’s Chicken and Churros review:
First time trying today! So of course I had to try a bit of everything.

1. Carnitas and asada tacos: DELISH! 🙌 So much carne on the tacos and the tortillas were cooked perfectly! 🌮The salsa was too spicy for me, but the guacamole was really good… and I usually do NOT like guacamole! 🥑
2. Sides: rice, beans, Mac salad. All GREAT! 👌I’m super picky about macaroni salad and theirs is so good! I like having the whole beans instead of refried beans and the rice was nice and fluffy. 🍚
3. Churros: I got with chocolate and caramel sauce. I want that caramel sauce on EVERYTHING! It’s SO good! 🥰 the chocolate wasn’t my favorite. The churros themselves are cooked perfectly and so delicious. 😋
4. Ordering and Pickup: GREAT! 👍The server was super nice and food was ready within 15 minutes of me calling even though they were slammed!

The only thing I didn’t get to try today was the drinks and chicken.
Overall it was AMAZING!! 🏆
I will definitely be a regular. ❤

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go collapse into a food coma. ✌

What a great find! The doraditos with consome did not disappoint. Great flavor. I love the vibe of the place. It is clean and kept up, and the food is amazing. Really can't ask for more-the horchata was AMAZING. Especially on a hot day. I will definitely be making a 2nd stop soon.

This is hands down the best Mexican food in all of Central Washington! Every single thing we ordered was cooked to perfection packed with flavor, and had extremely generous portions! It's definitely a new favorite of ours and we will 100% be coming back!

Best Mexican food I've ever had in my life!

My favorite thing to google when driving is Tacos or Burritos. Javi’s Chicken and Churros did not disappoint, we tried the birria doraditos, carnitas, adobada tacos, and got their chicken to go. The owner was very friendly and that was some of the best mexican food and the best Mango Michelada I’ve had since moving from California. Will definitely stop by again when driving through Grandview.

Love the asada fries here and the doraditos with some consome. The micheladas are one of my favorites out of all the places I have tried. Only other spot that I prefer the michelada is Puerto Escondido in Yakima.

This place has amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine. The churros are always a joy to buy along with their birria. They have all kinds of meat and their food is always fresh. You can watch as they make it in the kitchen after you order. They serve large portions for cheap prices. They have keto friendly options as well! Their salads are a favorite along with their asada fries. The restaurant is small but has seating and a bar. They serve drinks along with the food and have a lot of options for beer.

Delicious! Delicious! There food is SO tasteful! I have tried the different tacos on their menu. They ALL are wonderful! They all are very tasty. Friendly service and quick getting your food. You can’t leave without ordering churros. Best churros I have ever tasted. Especially with the Sweet sauces they provide you. Caramel and white chocolate are awesome with the churros!

I haven't had anything bad off the menu. I love it all and I have tried a lot! Their chicken is so tender! My go-to: fish tacos & churros with mazapan. (I buy a few dozen to go too for the students in my classes!)

I see some bad reviews for their poor customer service on the phone and for their inconsistency of hours - all I know is I can't imagine running and stocking a restaurant in this crazy Covid time. How do you know how many people who should work and how much food to have on hand on a Tuesday night during the Covid Craze? We showed up with a group of 15 and they had to turn away people after us because they ran out of food. It happens.

Talk with the employees/owners - hear their stories. I love this place and the people! I wish them success!

Honestly none of the restaurants here in Pierce or king county even comes close to the food I enjoyed at javis. This mans recipe for consome and micheladas is on another level and I can’t wait until I go back to sunnyside for a visit just to have a chance at enjoying this food again.
