This is a beautiful place to park your RV and explore the area. Jordan, Allison, Eric and all the staff are so helpful and friendly!! We were here for a week and everything was seamless and easy with the campground. We were here in October and weathered a freak snowstorm (like a foot of snow!) and they helped us however they could. We would definitely stay here again if/when we head back out this way.

The only ding and it’s not much of one is the entrance road. Could use more signage. The park is right on the river, our site (7) was level and getting in and out was easy. The park was clean and workers were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 41ft 5th had to unhook.

Linen service, heat, private bathroom in a beautiful KOA cabin. Steps from the Yellowstone River. Trees, fire pit, barbecue, wi fi, fridge and microwave. And friendly service! Gorgeous and very easy accommodations.

GREAT location, very clean, staff were friendly, and the RVs were not packed together which seems to be too commonplace in many other KOAs. It is about a mile from the road and directly adjacent to the Yellowstone River, which made it very dark and quiet.

The only downsides would be there is no cable tv (although there are plenty of over the air stations) and the cost of $80 a night.

This is a very nice KOA and we will stay here again.

Made last minute reservation due to closing of Yellowstone. Our site was great and for the most part the park was wheelchair accessible for my husbands needs. Bathrooms and showers clean as well as a great laundry room. Although we didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool, it was very nice and also handicapped accessible. All the staff we encounter we friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this KOA.

Nice place and nice people running the show. Overall the campground is clean and well run. The campground is literally on the Yellowstone River, it was really nice to be able to relax on the river after a day of seeing the sites. We never utilized the pool, it looks to be a bit outdated. But again, like the rest of the campground, it is clean. The play ground and exercise equipment (yes, they have outdoor exercise equipment at the play ground) are all new and were a nice touch.

Unfortunately there was a fire ban when we got there so we could not cook out or have a camp fire, we were not even allowed to use a charcoal grill.

It is roughly a very easy 40 minute drive to Yellowstone and maybe 10-15 minute drive to Livingston. Due to the fire ban, we explored some of the local restaurants, Livingston and the local area around the campground has many top notch places to eat and have a few drinks. They also could not open the breakfast tent because they were short staffed and were struggling to find help. We ran into multiple businesses in the area that had staffing issues so the campground was not unique in their struggles.

I wouldn't hesitate to return, it is a very convenient area to camp while enjoying what the area has to offer.

Great park, excellent hosts, very quiet, even when full. Everyone (campers included) seem very happy. The hosts went out of their way to let us know about upcoming road work and gave us good alternatives to get back on our trip. Showers are excellent, clean, and well maintained. Pool is huge and the kids love it. I'm delighted that we're not on top of our neighbors and there's a nice amount of green. I don't care for parking lots. Loved the little rabbits that were all about in the woods surrounding. Will definitely stay here again!

Every employee that I talked to or had help me. Has been amazing. From anyone working in maintenance, behind the counter , and yes the managers have been awesome. The views are amazing, and you're right on the the Yellowstone River with the backdrop of the Absaroka mountain range. What more could you ask for?
I've never had any problems or issues while staying here and will definitely stay here again.

This place is a cool place to stay. My son enjoyed the cabin and the playground is awesome. The bathrooms are clean and the water pressure is awesome. Will stay here again.

Tent camped here for one evening and had a wonderful experience. Very quiet, scenic views, located on the river. Bathrooms are clean and updated. I would love to camp here again!

Fantastic RV park! The staff are always friendly and helpful and the grounds are very well maintained. The location on the Yellowstone River allows for fishing and easy access to rafting. It's a quick drive to Livingston, which is a great town to explore; wonderful food and the locally brewed beer is well worth trying out. Additionally, it's close to the North entrance of Yellowstone Park and the city of Gardiner, MT which is another great city to explore.

Great facilities and affordable tent sites. If you want to splurge the cabins on the river look amazing. Cows are neighbors in the adjacent pasture so you’ll hear some moo’ing depending on where your site is at on the property. At least one accessible bathroom on the side where the tents are, the other bathrooms may also be accessible but I didn’t check.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Gail is a jewel. Great RV sites and you’re not packed in like sardines. The pool is OPEN! Huge plus! Excellent showers and laundry facilities. An hour drive to the North Entrance to Yellowstone and Mammoth. Loved it here and would stay again.

We stay here for 2 weeks in August of 2020 in order to get away from the brutal summer heat in Texas. Weather was perfect! We loved out site. The park was very quiet and peaceful. All the hookups for our Airstream were great too. We used their laundry rooms and it was fine. I couple of dryers didn't work, but that seems to be a common issue in RV parks all across the nation. We plan on returning again late this summer.

This is a great KOA! We really enjoyed our stay here. We rented one of the deluxe cabins- they look out on the river, are roomy, and come equipped with most things that you need. We were able to pick up a few things that we forgot at the very well-equipped shop in the office
Also, excellent customer service. We forgot a couple small things and the staff member we spoke to mailed them back to us and just charged the postage to our card on file. Super helpful!

Great place. We spent a week here last month and have nothing but positive to say. It’s location to the river is perfect. Clean, friendly staff, quiet and overall a pleasant experience. WiFi could be improved. It’s very weak and an easy fix, if the park chose to upgrade. Especially for the price of a KOA. The dog park does have room to expand, it’s a bit cramped for anything other than a small dog like a chihuahua. However, there are plenty of places to take your dog for a walk.

Came in without reservation and found the everyone very accommodating. I pitched a tent and was happy enough with it. The sites are extremely close together and felt as though I was sharing my site with neighbors. I would stay again but would look for something more spacious first.

After traveling through the Badlands and Custer, we decided to stop at Livingston, Montana KOA. This was another stop on our journey out West. The location is right along the highway and to find it, you must go down an unsettling long side road. This KOA was by far one of the best I’ve been to. The grounds, bathrooms, facilities and other amenities were very well kept up. It is a beautiful location with the Yellowstone river flowing right next to it. We stayed in one of their cabins for the night. The cabin was extremely clean with no bugs or anything. The place is family oriented and has a lot of activities for the family. There isn’t any places to eat around there so plan around that. This location also made me feel safe. I will be staying here if I ever get the chance again!

The employees at this KOA are fantastic - super helpful, friendly and organized. The park is obviously well maintained and the setting is lovely! Be careful - the road leading to the KOA entrance is super bumpy. That’s not the fault of the park owners - just be sure to drive slowly.
