The Bees Knees is a solidly dependable restaurant in Idaho Falls. The staff are friendly and professional, though be prepared to wait on the weekends during dinner rush as it can get busy. The interior of the restaurant is a bit quirky and can get loud when it’s packed. It’s a great place to eat with friends but I wouldn’t consider the best choice for an intimate, quiet, romantic dinner (unless you go quite early when it’s quieter).

The food portions are generous and can easily be shared among two average adults or one very hungry teenager.

The fries with thick balsamic are especially delicious. There is sometimes and over-abundance of cheese on some sandwiches and they can present you with the perplexing problem of how to actually fit it in your mouth to take a bite (they are quite tall). Another standout is the baked brie with honeycomb, and fresh seasonal fruit. It is served on a hot cast iron dish and is gooey and delicious. It is large enough to have as a meal.

If you like your food gorgeously filthy (lots of cheese, sauces, large portions) then you will thoroughly enjoy Bee’s Knees.

This is truly one of Idaho Falls hidden gems! First let’s get the cons out of the way: it’s hard to find, it’s literally just a door along a hotel. We had to wait a while— it was weirdly busy for a Tuesday evening (but after eating the food, I can see why it was so busy). Home cut fries were a little soggy. The pros: drinks were amazing. The entrees came with a free soup and a little balsamic toast and they had a wide variety of hearty, delicious soups to choose from. I was happy then and there. The restaurant itself is cute and quirky. The mac & cheese was awesome, and the steak was really tasty. We were so sad that we were too full for dessert & we will definitely be back soon! You can tell the owners put a lot of love into their menu and the servers were friendly.

Amazing! We were fresh off the plane from Texas and STARVING! Ended up at Bees Knees and I am so glad we did! The food was so flavourful and the portions were fantastic for the price. Our server Morgan was friendly and quick. We ordered the crab and spinach dip with balsamic toast, fish and chips and the Honey Ham/pineapple/grilled cheese. So glad we started our vacation with such a great experience!

The was a fun and absolutely delicious lunch “last decent meal” headed into Yellowstone. My daughter had the Fried Gouda Mac and cheese bites, I had the Crispy Chicken Conqueso, my spouse got the Shrimp Po Boy, my son got the Idaho burger. The food was AMAZING. Holy cow! The atmosphere was delightful, my kids didn’t feel like they were in a bar even though it had a slight feel of one, but a classy one none the less. We did not get any cool beers or fun drinks as we were on our way to Yellowstone. But will definitely make this a destination when we go back to Yellowstone next year and will try some tasty adult beverages. Bathrooms were clean, seating was clean, everything was nice and presentable. The food was very filling and I would consider it to be slightly larger than a normal portion. The cost was absolutely on par with the portion size and the amount of food received. In Utah you would get a tiny 1/4lb burger for $8.99 with no fries or side option. Bees Knees burger was a 1/2lb for $10.50 and included fries, soup, salad or Mac and cheese. Staff was friendly. Thank you for a great atmosphere and fantastic food! Kids 16 and 13 give it two thumbs up as well.

Great place to eat. We took our time going there but it’s been worth the wait. The food was outstanding and very large portions. The two soups that I have had there was super. I should have had a big bowl of the soup but I ordered lol.

The ham and cheese sandwich was great. It kind of a Hawaiian Pizza on a roll. The ham was not sliced ham but pork shoulder ham carved up and strategically placed on the bun and also a slice of pineapple plus a abundance of cheese. The sauce was killer. I couldn’t eat it all or even half of it. So it will make a great leftover dinner later.

The second time I went I took my wife and our daughter and it was no fluke the food was just as good. They have a full bar as well.

The service was great Mary was the first server we had and even though her leg was hurting her she made us feel welcome even though it was a big group she did an awesome job. Dillion was our server today and he was attentive without being over bearing.

The take turns picking music and the music today was super classic soul what wasn’t to love about that.

Will have to go back again to try the desserts some of them have some different names so need to try them and see if they are as interesting as their names on the menu.

So check out Bees Knees I don’t think you will be sorry.

This place was great! A little non-descript from the outside but inside is cozy and everything was delicious. Highly recommend

The decor is quirky fun, comfortable, and clean. Great music. Good service. We ordered the wings- maybe the best I’ve ever had, bacon wrapped mushrooms, and the baked brie. The mushrooms were smokey yumminess, and the baked brie was delicious. Fresh fruit, honeycomb, and plenty of savory bites as well. The presentation on all three apps was gorgeous. I would go back again and gain!

We came here for supper into a welcoming restaurant and cozy space. Several dishes were highly recommended and we settled on the Salmon and the French dip. Both were large entrees and very delicious! The service was excellent despite being very busy for trivia night. We look forward to returning in the future!

Fun little place to eat on the strip. One of the best bloody Mary bar is in town that I’ve seen. Brunch definitely filled us up, good food and nice atmosphere.

We just went there again, last Saturday night. It was pretty crowded, we had the last table. Great service, very friendly. My burger was fantastic, and my wife’s steak was cooked perfectly. No complaints whatsoever, fun little place, great atmosphere, no bright lights!

very tasty. Brie was amazing. didn't know that the Prairie salad was partially grilled but still delicious. Huge portions. friendly staff. Music slightly up. older hotel.

One word: WOW!
This is by far one of, if not the best restaurants I have ever been to. Every one of my family members dishes looked and tasted amazing. It is expensive so we only come occasionally, but when we do it is so worth it. On top of all that, the service is outstanding. The lady who served us checked on us multiple times and even struck friendly homey conversation which we loved she was very nice! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The perfect pre-flight pit stop! I was so impressed with the food flavor and presentation. I got the shrimp po boy - exactly what I needed. I especially loved that it came with delicious fresh tomato and cucumber. The shrimp were fantastic and not overdone (yay). I sat at the bar, and had a great server. The other servers in the area were friendly. Recommend.

I’ve been here once before and it’s been very good both times. This time we tried the crab spinach dip appetizer. It comes with bread and is very good. We also had the Brie, which tasted smokey. I ordered the Steak Diablo. It’s a sirloin steak topped with green chilis, aioli, and a lot of cheese. I highly recommend it. I order my steaks medium rare, I think this steak was probably more on the rare side, but it was most excellent. The flavors are unique and blend very well. For a side, I got the Mac N Cheese. The Mac N Cheese had a couple of different cheese and had large shells. It was a good alternative instead of fries or a baked potato. We went doing dinner time so it was busy and service was a little slow. At times it would’ve been nice to receive more refills or had empty plates cleared away, but they were busy. I also would like to see more dinner options in the future. The Bee’s Knees is a place you’ll want to take visiting family and friends to for a real nice dinner.

This is the best food I've had in weeks. The outside isn't fancy as it's attached to older hotel but well worth going in. The inside us very cool with old real wood tables and bar. The service was super friendly and quick for how busy they were. Go hungry as the portions are huge and affordably priced. I had the steak sandwich which was on awesome french bread and had a great flavor. Highly recommend this place if in the area.

Unassuming entrance in a hotel but WOW! The decor was eclectic and cute! Extensive drink menu. Lots of menu options. We ordered the brie appetizer and the crab Spinach dip; both were delicious! The cream cheese jalepeno burger was good (could have used a bit more cream cheese). The shrimp po boy is on a half a loaf of French bread with two different kinds of fried shrimp. Side of veggies were yummy. Sauces were a little spicy for me but had goo flavor! Then gma's brownie was devine! I wish we lived closer so we could eat here again!!

Tried this place for the first time and it truly is the bees knees! My husband and I ordered the spicy honey wings as an appetizer and they were cooked to perfection! Some of the best wings I've ever had! I also ordered the Oh Honey Chicken Club which was huge and delicious! The hand cut fries with balsamic is a must try! My husband ordered their jalapeño burger which was also huge and delicious to him! Excellent service! We'll definitely be back!

Kind, happy wait staff, cute decor and ABSOLUTELY BANGIN' FOOD. That was probably one of the best ham sandwiches I've ever eaten. This place is built into the front of the hotel, and is a small, comfy spot for lunch! Excellent service, and a great menu!

I Didn't know if would ever try these guys again but I went on a whim and let me tell you what,Julie is an amazing server!!!! Attentive and so sweet, I will forever be a bees knees customer if I can count on Julie being there!!! 10 stars if I could

This place was fantastic! Great food at a very good price. There were four of us, we all ordered different items and sides, and everything was soo good. Keep up the great work ladies, it's terrific!!

Went here for trivia and dinner. All 4 of us enjoyed the great food and friendly service. We come here frequently for trivia...always a great time.
