Probably one of the best preserved steam locomotives that I have seen in the USA. Fun place to visit with children. Located inside Riverside Park, that has a great playground, beautiful overlook over James River and a great hiking trail. Trail starts right behind the Historic Train Exhibit. Around Christmas time, there is also a Christmas light expo. Make sure to visit if you are in Lynchburg.

The engine is very well preserved, although nothing is functional. An excellent addition to an already excellent park.
