Sissy's Taco Trailer

I had passed this place quite a few times during my travels each week, it's hard not to miss it. I've heard several people and read several reviews that say it's very good food. I stopped the other day and had a couple of tacos to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. I love the look and feel of the outside area and the freedom to explore as I waited because there was a gadget that vibrates and lights up to let me know that my order is ready. Definitely a fun atmosphere with statues of Bigfoot as well as small animals. I would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone hungry for some good Mexican cuisine and even fun with the family. I had the Tyson tacos and loved every bite. I'm looking forward to visiting there's a nice size menu and I'm willing to try everything on it, hopefully more reviews to come soon.

The tacos are okay, I haven't tried any of the newer foods there, but Zoe's ice cream is fantastic!!

Amazing place for tacos and the environment is crazy lit.

The setting is on the side of a busy road yet has so much space and seating. It has great lights and music going on all the time.

Regret not having an opportunity to hang out with anyone as I was traveling alone. It's amazing in the daytime as well when the temperatures are bearable like today.

First time here, food was delicious! Very friendly service and I will be back. I got the Tyson taco salad.

The BEST tacos around. I wasn’t ever a taco fan but I tried three different ones when my husband got his and let me tell you….. IM NOW A TACO FAN. But, ONLY at sissys tacos. Their ingredients are fresh, tasty and always satisfying. Make sure to give it a try, believe me you won’t regret it!!!!

They honestly have the best tacos out of anywhere I've been in Louisville. It's worth driving to Mt Washington to eat here. The Sissys steak and the pork are my favorite. The ground beef taco is also very delicious. Hands down best tacos I've ever had!

Stopped in today after seeing a post of Facebook a few days ago.

Ordered steak tacos online and they were ready as soon as I pulled up.

They were really good.

I can’t wait to have some more.

I am also looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

I will be back for sure!!!!!!!!

We ate here yesterday for the first time. The food was delicious! The portions were plenty and the service was very customer friendly. The lady was very patient with us, answered all of our questions (huge menu to order from) and order was ready in no time. We will definitely be back!

Drove almost 3 hours to eat here, and they did NOT disappoint!! It's a trailer that you park next to, order your food, they give you a "pager" to let you know when the food is ready. You can sit at their picnic tables or take out. The food was hot and delicious! So many flavors! All the tacos are excellent, so it's hard to pick just one! They also offer specialty ice cream. Go there now!

Believe the hype. I drove almost 3 hours to try these tacos, and they didn't disappoint! Each taco is filled to the brim, and the flavors are excellent! This is a food truck, so order, wait for the given "beeper" to go off, grab your order and enjoy. They have a bunch of picnic tables available to eat at, and it's handicap accessible. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious! Go there now!

Have had Tacos, Burritos, Sub Sandwiches, Tons of Ice Cream & milkshakes, and now cheesecake on many different occasions (yes I’m fat) and they have never missed!! Love this place. If it ever closes I will move out of Mt. Washington because this place will never be the same.

Delicious tacos and rich ice cream for dessert. Try the steak tacos, burritos, or nachos. They offer ground beef, chicken, pork carnitas, and shrimp with supersize options for extra meats at a small up charge. very friendly staff and plenty of outdoor seating under umbrellas. We’ll worth the drive from Louisville!

They offer drive through service, and walk up ordering. Seating is onsite, but all outdoor.

Shawn and family have created an awesome environment and experience for the Mt Washington community. Responsible business owners but also cultivators of a fun and unique assortment of eating options with their food truck park. Be sure to visit this in My Washington for some great food and awesome customer service. Each dish is decadent and like no other. Great job!!

I stopped originally to get ice cream from Zoe's and decided to get a burrito and nachos from Sissy's Tacos. The nachos were gone immediately and later the burrito was consumed. It was great! Presentation looked good and it tasted yummy! Oh and I had the elote in a cup. I will say that was different for me, but good nonetheless.

This is honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve had!! Their nachos are hands down the best. The staff is always friendly and fast! We’ve been eating out a lot lately because we are remodeling. Two nights in a row our order was messed up and different restaurants. We ordered Sissy’s last night and everything was hot and delicious!!

Very good. I had this for lunch and even had enough for dinner. Very flavorful and everything is made fresh.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Mt Washington. Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Staff is always friendly and outgoing. You definitely want to give this place a try.
