Dewey's Jazz Lounge

My wife and I ate dinner on 4/20/24. We sat at the bar, our server was Angie. She was great and recommended a drink for my wife called the Voodoo Down. She loved it. All the syrups and agaves are made with fresh ingredients and you can tell. My drink was Kiss of Fire. It was a spicy tequila drink and also really good. Dinner and service was superb. A must visit for dining in Springfield.

Dewey's had such a great atmosphere. We met friends there for a drink and once we saw the menu, we decided to order.
We ordered wings with bourbon, crab cakes, Cajun shrimp dip, and loaded mac and cheese. Everything was delicious.. we sat at the bar where we had the wonderful opportunity to see Paul the bartender making drinks like a true artist. He was extremely attentive to our needs and an amazing bartender. Dewey's definitely will be on our return list. The live jazz music was wonderful.. located on Worthington St in Springfield, it is that hidden gem you must go try. Thanks Dewey's for a wonderful evening. Prices are great, people are wonderful.. What more can you ask for?! A+

Best date night!! It was an amazing time and such a chill atmosphere! I didn't get the name of the band but the guy on the guitar gave me goosebumps, the singer, drummer, bass..... incredible. The food came hot straight off the grill and the servers were so accommodating. We went outside first on the patio (so spacious and beautiful) but it was a little chilly for me, so the waitress brought us upstairs and I am so happy she did. The decor and vibe is spot on to what I want when it's time to chill and vibe out! Manager came to check on us too! I can't wait to go back.

Been to Dewey's twice and have had a great time each visit. The first time a during warmer months and they had live music on the patio. The second time was recently and they had live music in the upstairs area as New England hasn't transitioned to patio weather in April just yet.

This last visit I made a reservation online and while I don't like having to give my cc to make a reservation, I get why they require it. My husband and I were running about 15 mins late so we called to let them know and they were very accommodating.

The staff are very professional and the bar tender was serving some amazing drinks that were made with fresh ingredients and not sugary pre-made mixers.

I got the catfish, corn bread & greens and my husband got the burger with brussel sprouts and we shared the skillet mac and cheese. I did order a side of collard greens but they were luke warm and not flavored the way I prefer so I sent them back. Everything else was fantastic! The catfish was crispy and seasoned very well.

For dessert my husband got the peach cobbler egg rolls and after 1 bite, his eyes rolled to the back of his head lol.

I would definitely come back for the vibe and food again.

Dewey’s is great. Gumbo was awesome! Homemade chips are excellent. Prices were comparable, but adds up quick with drinks. Deja took good care of us! 🍽

Me and my partner were visiting from out of town, and after a little bit of searching, we came across Dewey's. The atmosphere was amazing. There was live music and the vibe was very intimate. Our hostess was very attentive, and made sure that my partner's food was handled properly (he has allergies). The Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had (that I didn't cook), the tostones were crispy, and the filet was so tender my partner didn't even speak to me until he was done eating. The drinks were nice and strong, and the singer was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

It was my first time in your bar and we had such a great time with friend. The food was on point, the music amazing but a shout out to the barkeeper Richard who not only served us drinks, he recommended good drinks, an amazing dessert and was so delightful to talk to! Because of him we will definitely coming back!

Update 2: shrimp and grits is no longer on the menu and I might have to start a petition. It still has the chill vibe and great food/drinks though.

Update: Sunday Brunch is amazing!! I love the Shrimp and Grits with a passion. The drinks are fabulous.

Wonderful atmosphere, excellent staff (Tabby is so nice), tasty craft cocktails and small plates of food. The live music is the best!!

Lovely spot with live music! The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable! The food was really delicious, like it was made with love. I’d highly recommend it. We had a few entrees and nothing disappointed. Cocktails were yummy too! There is a nice outside seating area with a beautiful courtyard.

Update: Came out to have drinks and sat at the bar with Jenna the bartender. She made our drinks and they were nothing short of spectacular! Still my favorite place for fantastic drinks, food and service.
Let me tell you this, this place is highly underrated. The atmosphere is great. Phenomenal jazz venue with amazing music, drinks and food. The drinks are second to none. Craft ice and the drinks are made to perfection, by professional bartenders. If you sit at a table you will be pleasantly impressed by the professional, attentive, quality service provided by the wait staff. Wine, specialized drinks and after dinner beverages. I want to take this opportunity to mention a few names. Tia "the waitress", Xavier " the bartender" and the entertainment provided by Mass-Conn-Fusion. All of them made our night exciting and memorable. Thank you Dewey's! Keep up the good work.

Rob was the most classy, enthusiastic and energetic bartender we could have asked for! The atmosphere was exceptional. The music was a vibe. Kept us here for hours. Will absolutely come back.

This was my families first time visiting Deweys Jazz Lounge however it will not be our last. Had an amazing time for Sunday Brunch food was delicious, staff was very friendly and efficient, and decor was beautiful. Our waitress Deja was amazing and the head chef came out to greet us as well. Would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere! Very grown and sexy type of vibe for any occasion. The drinks were tasty and definitely not weak! I had the steak meal and everything came out perfect I really loved every bite of it. Been here 2x and both times were amazing!!! Live jazz music with up to date music as well. Definitely a place to visit if you’re in downtown Spfld.

Rob was the best bartender! We had a great time, the music was a hit, and he recommended the BEST drinks. I would come back here just for his personality!

Good food, good vibes, everyone dressed so nice. My server Jordan was fabulous! She was kind and attentive and made my birthday an enjoyable experience.

We came to Dewey’s for Date Night and it did not disappoint! The server was so attentive, food was fresh and so well-seasoned and as Caribbean folks, it’s a must for us. We had to personally thank Chef Trae for sending us home with happy tummies and a memorable menu. Special thanks to the staff as well. We shall return…
