Kool Beans Coffee and Roasterie

I had a lovely lavender breve latte this morning. The coffee was delicious. I enjoyed the spaciousness and ambiance, the furnishings, and the many thoughtful details! The facilities were spotless. The staff were friendly and had good energy. This could easily become my home away from home.

A cool place to be. This place has an amazing smell of coffee and they have great coffee. A nice place to stop and relax and at the same time have wonderful coffee. I liked the interior and the way they are set up. Great customer service and great coffee. Loved the place!

Truly the best establishment in Brookings to caffeinate yourself , connect with friends, or create ideas for things like homework or other tasks. Whether it be sun, snow, or shine, Kool Beans never disappoints to be one of the premier places in all of Brookings.

Kool Beans is easily my favorite coffee shop in Brookings. Their new building is the perfect atmosphere, and my drinks are always delicious—but it’s their focus on sustainability that keeps me coming back!! Awesome to see.

If you are downtown, and in need of good coffee, definitely stop in. They have dozens of types of coffee as well more options than just a simple drip coffee. I'm pretty sure they are the only place in town that offers pour-overs or french press, and more. They roast their own beans too. It's great to have a place in town to buy fresh beans for my home brew. The owner and employees are always super nice, no matter how busy it is.

This place is absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.

Every time I’m in Brookings I have to stop for coffee here. I always like to try their featured drink and I’m never disappointed. I make sure to grab some coffee to take home too, they’ll grind it right there for you. They have great merch too, tote bags, sweatshirts, I might be biased because my brother is the artist😉. Always a pleasure to support this local business and I make sure to order more coffee online because their flavors are so good!

Beautiful local coffee shop with great quality coffee drinks. Spiced dirty chai is a must! There was a kind gentleman working that gifted myself and some other customers a small bag of coffee beans. The lady making coffee was friendly and brought my drink out to the table. Thanks Kool Beans Coffee for being an inviting, stylish, and kind establishment.

Pretty good. Got a lot of different options and it smells awesome in the shop. Not too loud, not awkwardly quiet, and the staff are all great. I usually go there to buy the coffee ground bags to take home, but once in a while I'll get something to have there. I also bought the french press travel cup and it's really really nice.

Kool Beans is amazing! Their new location is so inviting and put together well, their oat milk latte's are to die for, and they have friendly staff. Great place to meet friends or work. Highly recommend :)

Amazing place, I cannot recommend it enough. Their espresso is great. They make it using a blend of two different roast levels of coffee. This makes it have a very chocolaty flavor, yet have notes of sweetness you don't get in your standard espresso. They also offer a range of coffee beans that they roast themselves. Thus far, I have only tried their lighter roasts and have been impressed by all of them. They commonly have all sorts of origins to choose from, some of which are traceable back to the farm. If you are ever there on Saturday morning, I highly recommend sitting outside. They roast beans at that time, which creates the most amazing chocolaty smell from the roasting.

We love our frequent visits to Kool Beans. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends or for our entire family. We love the kids area to keep our 2 little ones entertained. The coffee is always excellent with many different options, in addition to food options as well. We are always happy to recommend Kool Beans!!
