Markham Park Nature Trail

Markham Park in Weston They have trails for walking, trails for mountain bikes that are extreme, trails for bikes that are easy and for just chilling, a dog park, an area to fly your drones, disc golf, a camp ground, or you can simply chill and do picnic. I'm pretty sure i am missing a whole lot more activities you can do. I love watching bunnies on the nature trails.

This park has it all. It has a great dog park. It has a shooting range right in the back. It has picnicking by beautiful lakes. It has a frisbee park. Tennis courts pickleball and so much more a lot of bicyclers come here.

This is where I come to fall in love with life. The slash pines keep the trail cool year-round so you’re not overheating. There’s plenty of places to climb about if you’re like me and can’t walk a straight line. The trail follows the lake and there’s a few places you can sit down and have a snack break if you want to take in the sights. The plants are lovely to see and every now and then, you’ll see a rabbit scurrying about. My favorite place on the planet, however, is the dock about midway through the trail. One time I sat on the dock pondering life when a lovely dog calmly sauntered up and sat beside me, enjoying the view with me and accepting lots of pets before it kept going. I promise you, my depression was cured. I always have little magical moments like that when I’m here.

Is not a very long trail but it has plenty of bunnies and kids love them.

I have walked a many trail and this one was badly marked, and loud from the noise of the highway. Considering the size of the park, the walking area takes about 15-20 min max. Very short. The bunnies and butterflies were nice though.
