Manny's Chophouse- Winter Haven

This was such a treat every night for dinner. They have excellent food with amazing service. They have happy hours either two for one drinks. On Wednesdays they have two for one Fajitas as well. The grilled chicken was delicious and the New York steak was so big and juicy. They also give you popcorn while you wait for a table.

Great steak, like exceptionally good for the price point. I was actually surprised how good the 16oz sirloin was for a steak under $30. It seems impossible but nevertheless I got a good quality, perfectly cooked steak that was cooked to my liking (medium rare). Presentation is commiserate of restaurants in this price point but it blows away any franchise steak house I’ve ever been to including Long Horn, Texas Roadhouse and Outback.

Employees were all super friendly and engaging, everyone polite and smiling. It’s just a nice place to be. Antonio was my server and he was on top of things and was top quality as far as servers go.

If you are looking for a great Steakhouse in Local Downtown Winter Haven, this is the best by far. We were greeted with smiles from the moment we walked into the door and even on a very busy night, nobody dropped a smile. We had Yawna as our server and she was outstanding; My wife and I dine often and this was the first we have ever been asked water with or without lemon (small things have a huge impact). Steak was phenomenal for myself and my wife had a hiccup on her steak as she asked for med-rare and got med-well however still delicious. Would definitely recommend to others and very great place to be at.

Great atmosphere!
Several life-sized figures. The Blues Brothers, The Duke on horseback. Lots of stuff n the walls to look at. If it were my man cave it would be cluttered, but fits in well here. License plates, signs, knick knacks... See the pictures.
Had the steak bites. Very good. There were six of us and didn't hear a complaint. From ribeye, to ribs...
Waitress was very attentive, patient, prompt and helpful. What more could you ask for?
From 4-7 it is half priced drinks. And at 6.50 for a beer, I'm glad we made it! 3.50 is even a little high around here right now, but 6.50?
Other than that, was a super dinner experience.
For two of us our bill with tip was $81 and change. I know another couples was 100 and change, but they had a few more drinks as I was the DD and just had the 2 for 1. So it's on the high side. But it was well worth it.
I would rate this the 2nd best steakhouse in the county after Cattleman's in Lakeland. But our bill there was 125ish.

I have eaten here many times and always good service tonight was above and beyond. Yawna was so hospitable and kind. She created a welcoming and friendly environment. Our food also came out relatively quick considering how busy they were and so did other tables. Frank was the manager that I told How wonderful our server was and he was just as great with the hospitable and charismatic personality. I don’t usually write reviews this detailed, but I just left there and this was the best experience there.

Very good food and service. Fun atmosphere but a bit loud for conversations. Especially liked John Wayne lifelike on horse.

Our experience today completely redeemed our opinion of Manny’s winter haven.

4 years ago we had such horrible service and experience that we have not been back to the restaurant since. Tonight my husband wanted Prime Rib and we decided to give Mannys another try. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars all around.

First of all Trista was an amazing server! I have to say one of the most personable and efficient servers we’ve had in Polk county. She truly made tonight 10/10.

Service is most important in the restaurant experience. Most People will try a restaurant again with great service and subpar food however horrible service with good food is harder to convince people to come back.

The food was amazing I had the ribeye and loaded baked potato that was perfection, my husband had the prime rib which he said was the best in years.

We will definitely be back and we will ask for Trista.

Tip, unless you are not an early eater, arrive there around opening time, 4 pm, much later and you may have to wait.

We went in for dinner on a busy Friday evening. The wait was 20 minutes,but we were sat and ordering drinks within 10. I ordered the NY strip steak and it was just amazing. My wife ordered the salmon and my kids ordered different meals. We were all very satisfied with our meals.

The service was also top notch. George did an amazing job and was very attentive.

A great place for steak and baked potatoes. Also, the chicken wings were fresh and tasty. We had a variety of steaks from porterhouse to sliced steak with onion and mushrooms; the highlight of the dinner was the dinner rolls, fresh and delicious.

This place is a totally awesome steak place. Honestly, the best ribeye I ever had. Perfectly prepared. The endless salad bowl was really good too. I actually ate more than I should have. Baked sweet potato was the perfect choice for me. The ambiance is really fun cowboy and other stuff. An hour wait on Friday but we called ahead and only waited 30 min.

We wanted to try the porterhouse but they were all out so we settled for the ribeye. It’s usually my go to! It’s a fatty piece of steak so if that’s what you’re into i’d recommend it! Super flavorful, probably the most tender steak i’ve ever had. It cut like butter. Baked potatoes were great, can’t go wrong there. I love the unlimited salad that comes with! I’d love to come again and hopefully try that porterhouse. In my opinion I think this restaurant is better than Texas Roadhouse since they seem to be a lot alike . And service was amazing.

Excellent attentive service by Marlin. Good food. Chopped steak was excellent. Large portions good value.

A little loud, but the service was amazing. Shian was our server and she was so pleasant and even when I forgot the BBQ sauce I bought, she brought it up front for when I went back. So friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back and wish I could give higher marks than 5 stars. Thanks for a great first experience. Oh and the filet was to die for. And so fresh on the meat and potato. Mind blown. See you next time.

I can’t say enough about this place. I love the high top tables close to the bar, it gives the perfect date night feel. Out T bone steaks were so tender and delicious. Not to mention the cheesecake is out of this work! Highly recommended

Best experience yet. Food was perfect. Wait time w asnt bad for a Friday night. Our server, Nikki was awesome even with a knee injury.

Tonight our server Brooklyn was amazing! She was hilarious! She needs a bonus!

Manny’s is above and beyond. Memorabilia and signage is eye opening. I ordered the Stuffed flounder and the best of the best and order the house salad, you won’t finish it, large. Highly recommend. Will definitely return to try the Porterhouse.

To me this place has all 5 things needed to be a 5 star restaurant.

1. Location - right off hw27
2. Presentation - places looks different from every other steakhouse.
3. Great staff! Everyone took care of us very good (Shout to Dave and Kevin that’s the manager!)
4. Great Food! Everything we ordered, we devoured it… even the salad!!!! 🤣😂
5. Great price! We recently went to a place down by the “mouse” and spent 3 times the amount for WAY less taste and service! I’m certainly happy with the prices!!

A Family friendly restaurant you don’t want to miss!

We had a delicious meal. The steak was perfectly prepared, Tristan was a great server, and we used call ahead seating and were seated right away.

Chose Manney’s for location while meeting up with family for dinner. Not from the area.
