Booked a tattoo here based on reviews and suggestions and Helm didn't disappoint! Payton did an amazing job and I can't wait to go back again for a larger thigh dragon piece done in realism. The shop is clean and inviting not dark and dingy like some.

If you are even a little nervous about your piercing, stop by and see Luke! He is very professional, will put your fears and anxiety to rest, and you'll be out in no time. He was amazing with my special needs friend who wanted to have her ears repierced and I observed him with two young girls whose mother had brought them in to get their ears pierced. They were having so much fun while getting their ears pierced and came out delighted. The shop has a very comfortable atmosphere that was totally unexpected. Very happy with our visit. Luke is amazing.

Was given a referral by Aja (associate in Claire's at Walmart) to see Luke for my daughter's nostril piercing! Luke was fabulous! He was personable, awesome attitude, laid back & very funny keeping my daughter very calm before the piercing! He was very thorough in explaining everything we needed to know. He was so smooth with the piercing, it was over in a half of a second! What a great experience! Thanks Luke!

First of all--Rachael was absolutely AMAZING. Vibes were immaculate. She was so intricate, caring, and knowledgable as we went through my tattoo. I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and she was able to turn it into an amazing piece I couldn't even begin to imagine on my own. She got the concept and ran with it and made sure to be very meaningful and intentional every step of the way.

It was my first tattoo and she made sure I took breaks when I needed them and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

The establishment was super clean, and everyone was extremely friendly. As soon as you walk in, you're part of the Helm family. They have an ATM on site if you don't have cash on you, so that was nice as well!

I have to say...I was in the chair for a long time, and I never felt like I was uncomfortable with the environment or the people around me. Everyone was doing their own thing and occasionally stopped by to see how awesome Rachael was doing. Props to her. Did I mention she did great on my piece?

Not to mention the price. She put her heart and soul into this piece and it felt like no matter what I paid her it would never be enough. She priced very very nicely for such an amazing piece. I will mostly assuredly be coming back.

Not only are they extremely clean but the vibe of this place is amazing! The owners are so down to earth I had no idea they were the owning spouses until we left. I love literally everything about this place. Four of us got piercings and we were in-and-out in an hour. Numbing cream is available and works amazing! They support military!

It's a FLASH TATTOO look how good it is! He did it in literally 10 min, it turned out so beautiful, so perfect, & its a huge tattoo for the price of $31?!! INSANITY. They knocked this year out the park. They know what they're doing here, it was a very professional and smooth process. I had a friend get her flash done by Josh and she's so happy with hers as well. I got my tattoo done by the owner Mayes and I believe his wife Maria is the one who designed it! It was my favorite on the flash sheet the second I saw it you guys are amazing💛

Luke did a really great job on my ear piercings. He guided me through the entire process, answered all my questions & made me feel super comfortable overall. 10/10 recommend

Luke is AMAZING like all the other reviews say. I was so nervous to go from Claires to a tattoo place for my other lobe piercings and cartilage but man, oh man, do I see the light now! He is so knowledgeable and had all kinds of clean, surgical gloves, cleaning supplies, little boxes for the earrings etc. And he talked me through the entire process making me laugh etc.

I actually had my friend video tape the process, and I have watched it a thousand times because once I felt the quick burn of the initial needle going through I felt nothing else he was so smooth.

I came to this studio for my first tattoo experience and the reason I chose it was the UNBELIEVABLE REVIEWS. They do not lie! This place is clean, safe, and really cool! I was lucky enough to get Mayes for my first tattoo and I am SO glad I did. He was so patient with me. He is knowledgeable, he was kind, and took time to explain everything to me. I have plans for 3 more pieces and he's now my go-to! Thank you Mayes, for making the first time such an easy experience. (Because y'all, I was crazy nervous 😂) Give this place a follow and watch how good ALL of The Helm's artists are!
Also, if you need a piercing....y'all won't find better than Luke! Got 3 piercings from him with absolutely no issues or healing problems. He has a great selection of jewelry, totally loves his job, knows what he's doing, and makes the experience fun!! Come check them out!

I have gotten all of my tattoos done by Maria and she has always done such a good job. She is patient and is always thorough in her tattoos.
I have also gotten all of my piercings by Luke. Luke is always patient even when I'm being a scaredy cat and has never made me feel like I'm wasting his time and he knows what he is doing. If you are looking for a tattoo/piercing shop, the helm is the place to go.

100% one of the best experiences ive had. Read the reviews ahead of time. Called to get pricing and was told they have walk-ins so decided today was the day. Luke was amazing, as all the reviews state. It was my first time getting a professional piercing done. Quick and easy and Luke's vibe is awesome all on its own. When my nose heals and I'm ready to do my septum I will definitely be returning.

Anytime I have ever gotten a pricing I have always always got sick or passed out.!
