This was our first time camping here and it was great! Beautiful location and the people we encountered were friendly. Our site was fairly steep, some sites had bright security lights nearby, and the bath house was somewhat in disrepair, but those are our only complaints.

Best place to grill out & have a get together an even swim during season. We've went there all summer. Definitely recommend m super peaceful. I do wish it had more parking. Get there early or you will not get a parking spot.

Gatewood Park is one of the most beautiful, and peaceful places we have had the pleasure of staying in.
Chris Patterson, the Park Manager, is awesome. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you want.
Facilities onsite (bath house) are clean, and prices to camp are good.
I can not say enough good about this Park.

Excellent course and beautiful park. Out of shape people will have some shade for the hike.

Would love to go more often, but they have horrible beach hours. When we do get to go, it is very clean. Staff is extremely nice.

First time visiting. Loved it, except the partying. We have small kids and I do not like that around them, but all in all I'd recommend it and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I find this ramp the best for SUP and kayak entry. Islands and coves to explore, with low boat traffic.

Gatewood Park is a great place to hang out on an evening, it used to be free now they charge you $5 to park there, I don't like that but it's still a great place.
