So delicious! Always such kind staff, our waiter was great! My kids loved all the food and we had a good time. Even one of the waitresses stopped to comment on our "beautiful family" and to tell me Happy Mother's Day. Perfect end to a grand trip 😃

We stumbled upon the Starfish Restaurant when we were famished, and what a discovery it was! This place exceeded all our expectations. I opted for the gator sandwich, while my husband indulged in a bacon cheeseburger, and both dishes were absolutely delightful. The food was not only delicious but also creatively prepared.

Our experience was made even better by our waitress, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with everyone wearing genuine smiles.

We enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to return the next morning for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was simply delicious!

To the team at Starfish Restaurant, we want to express our gratitude. We don't know everyone who works there, but we truly hope to see the same friendly faces when we return for the summer. We can't wait to come back and indulge in more of your delicious food. Thank you for a memorable dining experience!

This place is awesome. After the long drive drive from New Orleans to Grand Isle, we had worked up an appetite. The place was busy when we got there and continued that way, but service was attentive and friendly. They definitely earned the bragging rights to the onion rings mentioned on their sign and menu. The fried chicken was some of the best we've ever tasted. Just note that it is battered and fried to order and takes about 20 minutes, but well worth it. Also delicious were the gumbo and the Po boys and fried pickles. A must visit!

This restaurant is the only one you need to visit in G. Isles. The quality of the food, the amount of food, and the price. The Onion Rings are a must. Go ahead and get the large order. The Po Boy in any style is worth the experience. The Po Boy double bacon cheeseburger is one of my top burgers ever in my travels. Their food is great. Our group had several different dishes all with great reviews. We ate there 4 days in a row, with something to try new every day. Enjoy!

Solid little Lousiana cafe. All the locals were there. Quite the hub of the community. Fried shrimp and mashed potatoes were delicious, and it was just a short bike ride from Grand Isle state park. Wish it was cheaper than $30 for one person, but that’s what Inflation does to a country.

Very friendly wait staff and excellent service, the food is reasonably priced and very tasty. I can say that I didn't care for the crabmeat jalapenos that much, but the ribeye and the plate lunch more than made up for it. Will eat there again next time I'm in town.

Decided to try the Starfish restaurant for lunch today. It’s bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The staff was very friendly. We tried the onion rings which were really good. The crab cakes were pretty good but small and in the shape of balls. The burger was fresh made and delicious. The PoBoy style burger was massive and we took half of it home. Overall a great experience and the prices were very reasonable.

Perhaps it was because our visit was off-season (late October), we found the reviews speaking of waits as long as an hour and a half after ordering not to be our experience. There were perhaps six other tables already being served when we walked in. We were able to order immediately, and our food came out six or seven minutes later. The onion rings are represented to be"killa,"and are indeed very good, as was the seafood gumbo. The potato salad was somewhat different from what I am used to, however, in that it seemed more like cold mashed potatoes with a few chunks of hard boiled egg, I think. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween, which was a nice touch.

We’re in town for the Ride the Bull tournament and ate here for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was good. My husband got a biscuit that I believe was the biggest, freshest biscuit I’ve ever tasted. At dinner, we shared a gumbo and potato salad. It was good (not our homemade) but good. The hamburger was fresh and delicious; the onion rings were as well. The service was a little slow BUT there are signs saying they are shorthanded. Perhaps that is why the server seemed a little confused. I’d definitely come back here again because everything was good!

Very nice place to grab a bite to eat. The burger was outstanding and onion rings were amazing!! The service was decent and the food came very very quick! It was so nice to see this place open after all the destruction that still surrounds them. Thanks for being open 💚

We were in the mood for fried seafood and this place delivered. It now claims the top spot for best fried seafood platter I've ever had. Fried shrimp, oysters, fish, soft shell crab and stuffed crab. All delicious. Onion strings were fantastic too. 👌 Their batter on the seafood as well as onions is the tastiest batter I've had. 100% recommend and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Grand Isle.
