This is the 2nd funeral the Steele family had where I was present in which both times, they were perfect. I don't know all the details behind planning a memorial but whatever questions I had, they could and did answer.
My godmother Rosa looked as if she was sleeping. Her hair, makeup, and overall presentation were precise without nothing out of place.
This is a smaller funeral home so don't be alarmed if you see other rooms with deceased loved ones. This place provides a small chapel for intimate small homegoing celebrations-perfect in both cases for Michael and his loving mother Rosa.

We the family of Mary L Lassiter would like to thank Johnson and Sons especially Ms. Gladys A. Cooper. Doing a difficult time you made the process easy and you were there for us the entire staff they are so professional and compassionate. I highly recommend outstanding!

I lost my baby sister in January 2023. This was the first time having to plan services for a loved one. From the time they picked her up at the hospital, til her departure to her final destination she was cared for in the most sincerest way. Thomas was the absolutely BEST! He made the process easy, answering any questions or concerns my family had. My sister was BEAUTIFUL 🥹 Johnson and Sons made a difficult loss just a little easier.

On 2 separate occasions this year June & December they have made our family highly satisfied in the home going of our love ones. The staff are extremely professional, patient, caring and exhibit true empathy when interacting with a grieving family. They were incredibly helpful when we contacted them for my mother-in-law whom recently passed on. We are in another state and had to handle everything long distance due to finance restraints, they worked with us through the whole process and we couldn't be more thankful and grateful for all their help.
