Miller Branch - Howard County Library System

The Miller Branch of the Howard County Library System is a wonderful resource for residents. My wife visits the library at least once a week. Today we visited the Enchanted Garden located on the library grounds for the first time and discovered what a beautiful spot it is. If you haven't already visited it, we highly recommend stopping by.

All-time favorite! The best! Lots of big windows, spacious study rooms, many events, beautiful gardens, rooftop terrace, and nice people work there! I am such a huge fan that even thinking about buying my first home close to this library😀

Very pleasant and amazing place, this library it’s just awesome and has everything that you need from the library, I mean all services at one. Everything looks pretty nice, take a look around and you’ll see all the resources that they offer.

Great library, amazing ambience, very helpful staff and amazing collection of books. They do have both adult and teen classes if you would like to take advantage of. There are few study rooms that you can reserve but tends to get full week in advance. They do have a silent study room as well and a nice garden outside as well.

Amazing! It’s well curated and arranged, you can find all genres here. They also have dvd and video game selections. You can easily sit and access the computers and print. They even have Japanese Manga! Awesome collection!

It’s quite, well maintained and clean library. The staff is so good and generous!

Very well organized books and good selection of international and English books. The app is a wonder. It is very ease to search, keep books on hold and checkout

Beautiful facility, super nice & helpful staff. Extensive selection. Incredible children's section. Can requests book holds or books for library purchase. Awesome website. Lots of study rooms & tons of computers. Love the self checkout kiosks that print your books to keep track! Love this library!!!! 😁👍🏼❤

Large, clean, fully equipped and updated facility. Very nice private rooms. Visited this Library for an audition. I could exit out on the second floor into a foyer that leads to a patio to practice my lines.

Wonderful library. Very clean. Lots of old and modern tech. Good people. 2 stories of books! Great children's program there too.

Amazing staff all the books you could want well organized and well kept there's nothing that's dirty or unplaced there's also many activities for kids and adults I just love going here.

I have been coming to this library for a long time and they consistently are helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. I highly recommend going to this library as they have a wide selection of all kinds of books, movies, ebooks, and more.

The Miller Branch location of the Howard County Library System is a beautiful, comfortable, and inviting building. With two stories full of books and other forms of media, computers, printers, copiers and the like, this Library has everything you could possibly want and more. I go here to look for books that I am interested in and they always seem to have what I'm looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always feel welcome here. I use their computers and printers to print labels for my shipping business and I never have to wait for a computer. Always a quick and easy visit! Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Just visited and stay at this Howard County Public Library & it is a very nice, state-of-art library -- outside & inside of the library. I wish all the public libraries like this. I really enjoyed this library, and look forward to revisiting again soon... I also like that it opens daily and its hours is pretty good hours for those who are seeking for books, articles, study (group studies as well), etc... Taxpayers monies well-spent on this public library. Job Well Done for Howard County, Maryland!!

One of the best public library branch in HoCo. Has tons of books and media for all ages. Staff is very professional. Has break room and large conference rooms too. During summer time it has farmer’s market in parking lot. Has a small botanical garden outside too.

It has at least a dozen parking spots for low emission vehicles right in front of library. The only thing I don’t like is some library patrons park non-low-emission vehicles in those spots. It is safe to assume the visitor know how to read. Hard to believe they choose to ignore the signs.

Extremely friendly staff, clean facility. We love making our weekly visit to this branch 🙂

Wonderful library, friendly and helpful staff. Great space for reading, small meetings and working solo. We visit every week.

Update: We love the library and the staff even more now that we have experienced them in person. They are having crafts every Wednesday evening and the kids love it! All this remains true - Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The library is beautiful and we are happy to have had such a great experience. The baby loved the wide variety of books and she refused to leave. We can't wait to experience their in person events.
