Absolutely fantastic service and food at this place. If you’re lucky enough to catch them open, you are in for a treat. The friendly man behind the bar made time for us despite us walking in just after closing time on Saturday, and even gave my toddler a train conDUCKtor duck toy. Because of him I will be sure to return. I also appreciated the Jimmy Buffett Shrine and clever hand towels. Their ice cream selection is vast and made locally. Just 100/10 all around. And thank you again, friendly man behind the bar, you were a treat. PS get the buffalo chicken dip in the market side.

Popped in for lunch & what an amazing space!!! Loved all the progression photos framed on the wall, showing the many places it's been over the last 100+ years. Beautifully restored from a fire station, with a few remains from its previous lives, it provided a really cool location to enjoy a beer at one of the bar stools. Staff was super friendly & we noticed several locals coming in for to-go meals & catering. Will definitely check it outfit dinner when we're in the area again.

Loved this restaurant located in a historic building. I was lucky to get a detailed history tour of the building while I was there. They still have the old jail cells located across from the restrooms. Used to be courthouse, clerks office and fire station now converted into restaurant and bar. I had the blackened shrimp and gumbo for lunch which was really great. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you for making us feel welcome at your restaurant.

Scranton’s Restaurant is a perfect combination of historic meets modern-day. A well-preserved, historic firehouse with a bar, a market with prepared food to go, and a delicious menu for dine-in. They even kept the old jail cell in the back as an office. Scranton’s Catering offers exceptional catering options, and you can rent the courtroom for special events.

I got the shrimp Alfredo. It was alright but had way too many noodles and not enough shrimp. I didn't realize that it wouldn't have any kind of veggies or anything in it, just shrimp and sauce over noodles. My mom got shrimp and grits and she said it was the best she's ever had. The service was quick and friendly and they have high chairs.

My first time at Scranton’s today was a fantastic experience! I visited the market side of the restaurant (left in the picture), but there is also a historical bar side (right). The environment was very unique, casual, and almost relaxing. The service was great. Being my first time, one of the employees showed me around, and another offered recommendations off of the menu. I got the fried chicken sandwich and fries, and I can easily say that it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had, if not the best. I loved the fries too, and the sweet tea was a little unique but great. I would definitely put Scranton’s in my list of favorite restaurants and I look forward to going back!

The grilled shrimp alfredo and stuffed mishrooms was amazing. The sweet tea was smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. Staff provided that home style personal touch. Jackson’s recommendations were spot on. Definitely coming back here again

The young ladies working here were so eager to share the rich history of the town and building. She toured us through the old jail, courthouse and even into the old bank vault. Very cool.

Delicious food and great service! They accommodated with vegan food for me. Very nice atmosphere for any occasion. Sit and dine in or grab something pre-made from their fridges to-go. Lots of specialty items in their market.

You can go in either door, both have tables.
The left side is dedicated to a market and is more of a lunch vibe. The right is the bar and has more of a fine dining vibe.

Manager, Jackson, and staff were so kind and thoughtful. Highly recommend trying this place!

A local fixture for decades, and may it continue to be for the foreseeable future. Also, the only local place I can get a decent Reuben sandwich.

Great food, service, and atmosphere!

Scranton's was like walking back into history. Lot's of interesting memorabilia on the walls. Very antique feel. Heather B was our waitress and she was very friendly and took great care of us. My dish was fabulous and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back again.

Delightful restaurant in the heart of downtown Pascagoula, MS. My blackened shrimp tacos and cold iced tea were delicious! Heather B did a fantastic job serving us. The decor is full of historical treasures and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The prices are excellent for the quality of food and service! We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the staff were super nice! It's hands down the best food we've had in three days!!! Plus you get to tour the historical building. We will always come here every time we are down on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

We were there with 16 friends for lunch. The decor is great with the old brick and high ceilings. The orders were taken and the food served promptly even though this was a large group. Given the 18 different orders the table saw a large part of the menu. There were no negative comments and my Firehouse grilled chicken sandwich with deep fried jalapenos was great. My wife liked her Rueben. The sweet potato fries were very good. It is now on my Google map with a heart symbol. We will be back.

Service was outstanding! The food was delicious. I had their Shrimp Po-boy. It was loaded with fried shrimp and all the fixings. I had the cheddar cheese grit cakes for a side and they were incredibly good. They sold ice cream in containers and that was a nice late night treat. I will definitely come back again.

Great experience, the food was hot, delicious, reasonably sized portion, with wonderful service. Both my wife and I stopped for a quick bite and got brisket sandwiches. I appreciate that the sandwich wasn't drowning in sauce.

Great little local place! The burgers and homemade potato chips were delicious! They also have ready made pimento cheese, chicken salad, salads, and others goodies to grab and go if you're in a hurry! Glad we discovered this gem passing through town.

Just a little lunch dive downtown pascagoula with great food. There are only 5 or 6 tables, so real homey. The red beans and rice are fantastic, as well as the blackened chicken jalapeño sandwich. Will go again later this week and try some more of their great menu.

Food, Service and the place is all fantastic.
Portion sizes are more like Rhode Island small unlike Texan in other places. Slightly on the expensive side. Just eat here and nothing else you will lose weight and will be healthy.
