We had a great experience. My daughter is 4 and half, and she’s never been to the dentist. Sam explained everything to her and made it a fun experience the entire time, all while teaching her the fundamentals of caring for her teeth. Dr. Larson was very kind and down to earth and made her feel especially good about how well she brushes her teeth every day. We are so excited to have chosen South Mississippi Smiles as our children’s dentist. They were WONDERFUL!!!

Excellent... I'd been looking for a new dentist for my kids for awhile and hadn't considered Mississippi Smiles.. thinking it was for younger kids amd state run so likely not that good...but left with no other option, I took my 15 year there. I wish we'd gone sooner. They were excellent. The dentist was knowledgeable and professional. Our hygienist was outstanding and answered all our questions. I was allowed back there with my daughter so I knew what was going on. I'm so glad I finally took a chance on them and regret I didn't take my kids there sooner.

My son's best visit to ANY dental appointment hands down!! The staff even managed to fit us in although we showed up on the wrong day!

South Mississippi Smiles are very friendly and helped me with my kids when we were in the office.

It's always a pleasant experience when I bring my kids here. The professionalism is unmatched. On my most recent visit, my son needed to fillings. We had the pleasure of having Dr. K Bolding and Dental Assistant Mary oversee his appointment. They were super friendly and professional the entire time and I'm so grateful for that. They were moving together as a team and effortlessly made it look easy. They are both passionate about their patients and their comfort. If you're on the coast, this is the dental office to bring your little ones, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend bringing your kids here they were so kind and so gentle with my kids all around had an amazing experience.

My daughter is fearful of the dentist, but we started her here and she loves it, she is actually excited about going back!

First time taking my almost 2 year old. He LOVED IT. the atmosphere was 100% kid friendly, the back is where all the MAGIC is, they have everything to make your child feel comfortable as possible. Coloring books, crayons, jungle gyms ( yes jungle gyms ), a backdrop to take pictures, TVs above your head on the ceiling looking down at you when getting your teeth cleaned so the kiddos can watch tv more than be focused on what’s going on. I mean they have this place specifically for kids if you ask me lol. It almost made me want to sign up and start going myself. 100% recommend, every part of the staff is amazing and they are all so very nice ! If your taking your child elsewhere that’s more adult friendly, I would definitely look into South MS Smiles for sure ! Give the kids a BETTER more their age experience when visiting dentist and any other doctors for that matter !

I want to applaud the young lady that helped my 5 yr old. You can tell that she was still in the rookie stage but she is AWESOME. I loved how she treated my son like a big boy when she did his X-rays so he acted like a big boy. And believe it or not…he didn’t cry & he didn’t give her a hard time. Sorry didn’t get her name. But I do want to encourage her to continue with what she is doing.

Also I would like to applaud the other lady who came over & assisted her gracefully with her question(s) that helped her get started.

Samantha my 5 yr old was seen by Dr Bow today. And she was terrified of getting a shot in her gums. But his professionalism with her fear was outstanding. She never even knew he stuck a needle in her gums. It was amazing I would recommend him everytime!!!!

Can’t say enough about how awesome this whole office is. Great experience every time.

My daughter had a wonderful experience with them yesterday. Seeing this was her first time visit. They also were real fast in everything they need. The girl in the bath, came out with my daughter when she was done and went over what we needed to do next.

Everything about our visit was great: the staff, safety precautions, inviting, clean, and fun area for children. Both our dental hygienist as well as Dr. Larson were extremely patient and gentle with our little one. He explained everything in detail and answered our questions unhurried Excellent care and service!

We had a great experience. Laura was great and made him laugh even as she was cleaning his teeth. Dr. McCarty was great. My son always feels uncomfortable when he had to go to the dentist in the past, but he always has a great experience here.

First off, the place smelled clean and the lobby had so many toys For the kids to play with. Very cool! Second, the ladies st the front were respectful and very friendly. My two year old felt comfortable enough to go lay in the chair and get her teeth brushed. I had so much anxiety about how our visit would go today and I have to say it went perfect. My anxiety was gone ten minutes after I walked in the door. Be kind to them and they will be kind yeti you. Oh and I just have to say That the Doctor was absolutely gorgeous and so sooooo cute with the kids. Thank you all for a great experience!

South MS Smiles is completely kid friendly. The atmosphere is very fun and welcoming. The staff is friendly and great with children. As a new mother, I learned a lot on our very first visit about caring for my toddlers teeth. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a place to take care of their children’s teeth. :)

I came from Mobile today to get a consultation for my almost 3 year old daughter. I was nervous because of a bad experience with a previous dentist. The environment was welcoming and very kid friendly. Everyone was so kind, reassuring, and calming. It was a total 180 from the alarmist dentist we met with previously. They answered all of my questions and I left feeling more reassured about my daughter’s future appointment. After visiting South Mississippi Smiles, I will never take my daughter to another dentist. We have found her tooth fairies!
