Captain D's

Employees were friendly, nice, and respectful. Food was good, atmosphere was clean, restroom were clean, prices were reasonable. If in the mood for seafood and in the area, would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I haven't been to a captain d's in many years. I had an unpleasant experience at one and couldn't go back. I was so wonderfully surprised at t this place. The did was fresh tasting and hot. We had the senior plate, and that was enough for us and a good bargain. The crew was very nice and the dining room was clean and comfortable.

Capt. D's is a decent place to eat, a lot of older people seem to know this. The service was very fast. By the time we found a seat in the crowded dining room, the girl hand delivered our meals. The conversations at the surrounding tables was amusing, ranging from someone having a heart attack to city politics. Overall this was an interesting place to visit.

Really good fried fish meal. Their fried catfish is had to beat. The regular fried fish is good as well. Hush Puppies are a must as a side.

If you want a excellent low cost seafood meal, you won’t beat Captain D’S in Hudson. When I tell you they was packed, there was no more seats available and the drive thru was to the road.The staff was slammed but ALL of them was still smiling and laughing as they worked still rolling out fresh and hot food! TAKE CARE of your employees and they will make sure your business thrives! Grilled Fish and Shrimp with two sides and a breadstick for $10.99. They are just as good as any sit down seafood restaurant. Hats off Captain D’s of Hudson!

Best fast food fish restaurants in the area. Has a great lobster roll, but it's only seasonal. Good crunches and one of the only restaurants in the area that offers corn on the cob. Food is best when eaten hot, so eating in their dinning room is recommended.

The Hudson Captain D’s is great!! The dining room is always clean and the servers are helpful. What’s more, for a quick service chain restaurant the seafood waaaay exceeded my expectations! Hot and flavorful and abundant portions 😋. I’ve spent my whole adult life driving past Captain D’s restaurants assuming they were scudzy. Now that I actually tried this one, I can’t believe how wrong I was!

Great lunch that came out quick. The restaurant is extremely clean and looks as if it was recently remodeled.

We drive 35 miles one way to the Lenoir location. This location is always very good and consistent. Staff is friendly and polite. Service is excellent and we've never had a problem there after visiting several years.

Very friendly, helpful cashier and servers. I go regularly and especially like the senior plates on Wednesday and Sundays.

Fresh food good service

The food is always fresh. The staff are always pleasant.

We ate their for our anniversary. I got the fish/shrimp platter with fried okra and cole slaw. He got the 15 pc shrimp with fried okra and slaw. It was delicious, freshly cooked. Hushpuppies were fresh too. Plenty to eat and some to bring home. Will be going again..soon!

This is the best Captain D's around! The cooks are great, the food is always hot and delicious. The lady that takes your order should be given a huge raise. She makes this place. Each time I come here to eat I listen to the way she treats her customers. I have never seen anyone be so nice to ppl and she treats everyone with respect and kindness

This Captain D's ( my 1st visit) daughters birthday treat, was delicious food freshly cooked, bathrooms very clean, dining room as well. Super clean, great staff! We will be returning.
