Senator Jean Preston Memorial Park

Cute little park. Lots of stuff for kids to learn love how they have a manual transmission model to play with. The only problem I had was google maps sent me to an entrance that did not exist for cars. Go pass the left turn to canal street. Go a little bit further down and turn left in to the waterway boat dock area. The park is in the back. If your walking, canal is a an entrance, but not for cars

Very nice park with playground by the water. Bathrooms are on far side of parking lot more for I guess people parking to use boats.

Lots of play equipment for all different ages and abilities. Equipment is set on well padded foam matting. Lots of benches for grownups. Playground is mix of sun and shade. Plenty of parking. Near boat launch and a walk on the nearby boardwalk takes you out to the sound.

Very unique playground. The rubber mat that the whole play ground is set on was very nice. No mulch to get messy in.

Best toddler park in the area. Rubber flooring (because wood chips are annoying) low and easy jungle gym make it perfect for littles who are just learning/ new to walking. But there are other things to keep the older kids entertained. Not to mention the amazing view of Bogue Sound.

We thoroughly enjoyed the park today because there was also an excavator coming on shore that we got to watch. It was a one of a kind experience. The park is clean, well kept, and quiet.

Some playground equipment available for handicapped. Swings large enough for children and adults.

Beautiful, happy little park. Love the bright colors, interactive musical features and not having to worry about mulch. Just wish the bathrooms weren't across the parking lot.

Great new playground for kiddos and seating for the parents. Can have a picnic while there with the kids and walk out on the pier without going through the parking lot. Restroom is at the other end of the parking lot is the only bad thing.

Really fun park with a ton of different varieties. My kids really enjoyed playing here. It was clean and well maintained also.

Amazing kids park and boat ramp. Tons of parking, conveniently located, and on the intercoastal side.
