Dollar General

I walked here from the beach access just up the street, after coming down here for an impromptu beach trip. They had everything I needed to be able to stroll along the beach; I was able to find something with more coverage than a bathing suit, and less than what I wearing when I arrived, plus sunscreen. Decent prices and friendly employees!

Love me some DG. Just wish they would reduce their prices somewhat.

This is no ordinary dollar General, this 1 has fresh fruit and veggies. It has lots of frozen foods, and a great selection of dry goods. You can get beer here as well. I'll keep going back every time I'm in town.

Love the store. They pretty much always have items I need quick and it saves me the time of having to drive to AB or EI. Staff is always friendly and helpful!

I moved to EI 2 years ago and have never had a single bad customer experience with their personnel. June esp stands out ;)

Awesome place, great staff. Always quick in and out. Everything is simple to navigate, and plenty of parking available. Definitely reccomend going to this store if you are in the area. Has everything but gasoline.

All Dollar General stores are basically the same. They all seem to be a bit over crowed/rows to close, cheap pushing carts, plus depending on where you live all carry the same thing. But for all those reasons is why I keep going back there. I know what and where to find what I need. Most are messy and the floors are old and need cleaning. But I also think this is part of how they keep their prices down. It's one of my favorite stores to shop at!!

They are always helpful and friendly. Large selection of stylish clothes reasonably priced.
You need it ,they have it. Close by and open long hours. Good selection.

This Dollar on Emerald Isle has just about everything you can imagine except for meat and fresh produce. They have vacation needs like snacks, beer, floats, games...even clothes! They have pillows, coolers, curtains, cleaning supplies, electronics, batteries, bread, decorations, magazines, markers...I could go on. Great staff too.

Cleaner than most Dollar Generals with a better selection than most. It’s nice not to have to drive to the end of the island to the grocery store.

Unbelievable store !! Selection is amazing ! Luv their greeting cards, only a dollar !!! Just like the store name ! Check 'em out before spending your money at Wal Mart !!

Great management - always well stocked. Now has a small fresh fruit vegetables and packaged salad area.

Dollar General in Emerald Isle is wonderful. They have fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good place to go if you need something (food included), and don't want to drive the ten minutes to Emerald Plantation or fight the traffic and crowds.

The lady serving me was so nice and helpful. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.

The service here was great the store is clean stocked well I like the brands at Dollar general much better than family Dollar.

Love that they now have a rather large food selection. Staff is great.

They have exceptionally cheap cigarets I come down a North Carolina for the cheapest cigarets and Dollar General beats them all

For a small store they have many essentials. Prices are good.
