We have a new pastor. So far, so good. He seems friendly enough, has got a good family. Preaches from the Bible.

Gave me Good News and a sense of community, and I was just a tourist!

Amazing place! My wife and I have been visiting here for a few months. Very loving people! Grateful to have a church like this in the heart of Charlotte! =)

I had an amazing experience. The service was phenomenal. The music was great, the pastor was a great speaker and seemed like a nice guys, and everyone was so welcoming. Enjoyed my time. Was nice to go to a church that was trendy while really caring for people and teaching the Bible. Will definitely be back.

My family has been attending service at FBC for several months now. In addition to having a welcoming congregation, the pastoral teaching is Bible based and full of truth and grace. Kids (youth and teen) ministries seem to be well led, and the kids themselves are open and accepting.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I truly had an amazing time! As a first time guest I was a bit nervous but quickly felt at home and at ease! Their Hospitality Ministry is absolutely wonderful! They truly preach the Word of God sticking to the Scripture and they are serious about their relationship with Jesus. If anyone is looking for a church Home I totally recommend that if the Lord leads you to First Baptist join! I no longer live in the area but every time I’m in Charlotte I go to worship!!

Love this church! Incredibly friendly and intentional with new families. They don’t make you feel uncomfortable on your first but embrace you and your families needs! Thankful for this community of Faith. Strong Messages and great community.

I came to FBC for the first time today and I had an AMAZING experience! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! I truly feel that FBC is one big, loving church family.

Coming to FBC Charlotte has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. The people there are totally authentic, with everyone willing to recognize that they have flaws and that Jesus is the only person who can get us from point A to point B, and that He most assuredly will!

Each week, we are taught from the Bible verse by verse in an unedited way. The pastor believes that the Bible is the authentic, inerrant word of God and that it provides everything necessary that people need to know God, Be saved by Jesus, and live peaceable, happy lives. We learn from the Old Testament equally as from the New Testament since they are both pointing to Jesus, and the church loves and respects the Jewish People as being the progenitors of the Christian faith in Jesus.

The church loves Israel and believes that God’s promises to the Jewish people through Abraham are still in effect, in the same way that God’s promises to us of salvation through Jesus are still in effect and never made void.

I have learned so much sitting under the teaching at FBC, and I have made lifelong friends there through regular church service and through weekly life groups where we get together and study God’s Word! I now hang out outside of the church setting with a lot of the people that I’ve met there, and the summer volleyball courts are always hopping with the young folks from my FBC life group. We support each other spiritually by prayer, financially when someone is hurting, and just by being friends and spending time together.

I've been a member since 2010, they've helped me a few times. They care about the community, Pastor Harris preached the word from the Bible. (Now, he's running for Congress.). The interim pastor also preaches from the Bible. The new pastor, when he's chosen will do the same.

---- disciples of Christ meet regular for worship and praise. The Word of God is preached, bread is broken and lives are transformed. Evangelism, missions and discipleship are taking place and the Lord is lifted up!

If you are looking for a new church, come try us out. Really great people, will treat you better than family.
