Wanted to call in an order, tried calling but it went straight to an automated message saying the mailbox had not been set up yet. A storm had just come through so I figured the phones were out due to that reason. Drove up to the pick up window and asked if I could place an order and then come back in a little bit to pick it up since I couldn’t call it in. The man at the window took my order and said just wait a little bit and it will be ready. After an extremely short wait I was handed my food. The cheeseburgers and hush puppies here are so delicious!!

Our server, Shannon is super friendly and just kept checking on us. Never did see the bottom of my ice tea!!
Great BBQ pulled pork, fries, Hush Puppies and coleslaw. Cheap prices for large portions. Don't forget to get the banana pudding 😋

Great place I stay right behind it and eat there atleast once a week. Can go get a large cheeseburger or bbq sandwich for 5 bucks and be full. You can’t even do that with fast food, very nice for when don’t have time to cook and don’t want nasty fast food.

We went and had bar bq sandwiches they were so good and will definitely go back soon. The service was great, just a small place with great food. The onion rings were great. Next time I won't share with my husband he will have to get his own.

Awesome breakfast menu. Felt like Grandmas house from many, many years ago. Eggs were actually cooked the way I wanted. We stop in every time we are in town.

I had the Bar-B-Q plate with French fries, hush puppies, and green beans, and it was a delicious Saturday lunch. Great service.

Was pleasantly surprised. Q is flavorful, properly moist and a light but noticeable smokey taste. Slaw is a bit different but EXCELLENT. For those creeped out by the "older looks" to the place, relax. It'll be OK. If you saw what goes on in the kitchens of way newer and cleaner appearing places, I swear you'd lose your cookies and never eat out again. I guarantee our homes have more germs. And the most popular Q joint in the county doesnt use gloves. They grab a wad of Q and mash it onto the buns or trays. This place is inspected periodically and is just fine. Most peoples kitchens would fail miserably.

I've never reviewed a restaurant online before. After last night's experience at Darrell's, I have to express our opinions.
Our party of 3 dined-in at Darrells last night and ordered from their specials board. I chose the country fried steak, and my guests had flounder and the smoked pork chop. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection, and delicious! I'm convinced somebody's Grandmothers were cooking in that kitchen last night, lol!!
The country fried steak was hands-down THE best I've ever had at any restaurant; perfectly seasoned and every bite was tender.
The smoked pork chops had just the right amount of smokiness and was tender & moist. The flounder was fresh tasting & delicious too. The pinto beans were fresh cooked & perfect, as well as their homemade white slaw.
Even though every table was full and the phone was ringing off the hook for takeout orders; our server was very sweet, timely, and attentive... as were All the servers I observed.
We've dined at Darrell's at least once a month for years, and have never once had a bad experience. Last night's specials were so over-the-top delicious, that I just had to leave a review to give credit to the cooks, and to ALL of the staff for a well deserved.... "Job Well Done!"

Came through the drive through. The lady at the window was so nice all smiles I ordered a cheeseburger all the way extra crispy fries and a large Diet Pepsi. I was expecting to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get my order I asked if I need to pull around she said no. Within five minutes I had my food exactly how I ordered. Ask for ketchup she smiled and said it’s in the bag along with salt.

Oh wow The hamburger was fresh NO frozen patty chili was HOMEMADE along with the slaw. French fries were extra crispy NOT BURNED as I ordered. The diet Pepsi was crisp and fresh.

The only thing I would have changed is I would’ve stop way before now to order food. A remarkable place to eat will return

Great food, great service, friendly and cozy atmosphere. A lot of local workers come for lunch so it gets pretty crowded but just ask a stranger if you can sit with them, or wait out front on the bench for a table to open up. From what I've tried, I recommend the barbecue, the philly cheesesteak, and the mushroom swiss burger.

We ate here today. The food was great! The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff were amazing!

We got there close to 10:30 and should have made us get lunch but they said we could still get breakfast, so that was wonderful! We all got the special and you can't beat 3 people eating breakfast for under$20.00! It was delicious as always! Our waitress was amazing! Love this place ❤😍

We love to stop at local places when we travel and Darrell's was well worth the stop!The food and service are awesome! The dining area is small and welcoming. The decor is fun, I've never seen such a collection of die-cast cars and trucks.

Tonight was my family's first time eating here and we now have a new spot! Grilled chicken sandwich was beyond perfect, the chicken was so soft, the chicken philly was on point, and hamburger was great! We will definitely be back!

Used to eat here a lot when I lived in the area. Haven't been in at least year. Just as good as always! Homestyle meals, good hush pups. Keep up the good work!
