Delicious food and excellent service. Best country style steak around! If you’re not dining here then you are missing out!

We haven’t been to Johnny’s in years. We decided to give it a try since we heard it’s under new management. We got the sweet tea, flounder plate and bbq plate. Everything was spot on. It took a little bit to get our meal but the owner came out and saw people just had drinks and went back and got the food quickly. We will be back.

Cue done right. I had the BBQ salad. It was delicious, and the BBQ was the best I have had in a long time.

Food is great. Like a lot of places short on workers. The one server did great. Prices could be better on sandwiches.

My Mom had been to Johnny's years ago and couldn't remember where it was. After Google searching, found it for her and she order us a treat!
We shared a 2 piece flounder plate with fries, hushpuppies, and slaw. The flounder was enough for both of us to have 2 meals each from it. It was juicy and tender flaky inside. The fries were soft inside and a touch crispy outside. Perfectly cooked the way I like the flounder and fries. Good hushpuppies and cole slaw. Good cup of coffee too!
Good service! Roomy inside with soft cushion booths and tables with chairs if you prefer. Great for family, friends, gatherings, meetings or just to enjoy a good cup of coffee and relax. Menu is huge. They serve about everything but this first time treat hopefully will be the first of many!

Johnny’s never disappoints! Every time we are in Rowan County we usually end up at Johnny’s. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or dinner, the service has always been exceptional. Their BBQ Trays are always great, but I can’t forget the Best Ever Fried Pickles (you won’t be disappointed- my husband hates pickles and will actually eat these). Chicken Tenders are always great, fries are crispy, any salad you order is always great and the Ranch is on point!!! All the years we’ve visited and we have never been disappointed. The employees are always so friendly and the waitresses always take care of you and are so friendly!

Ginger Ale and to the woman who started making it is the only thing that makes it better than the other restaurant in the world and for that I thank you ma’am 💯🙏💜👌🤙🤤🖖

Our first visit to Johnny's and we couldn't have been more pleased! Fish sandwich and seafood platter was delicious as well as our variety of sides. The Pecan pie was the perfect way to end our exceptional meal. Service was top notch- very friendly and patient as we had questions about their extensive menu. Will definitely be back!

It's alright for the price. A plate is enough for two. Next time, I'll ask which sides are made in-house, because my selections today we're the kind from a food distributor (not bad; just not "special"). The dining area was clean and felt homey, and the staff were friendly. Good location in quaint, downtown Rockwell.

Visited for the first time tonight. Will definitely frequent this place in the future for the most amazing flounder I think I have ever had. Giant portions!!! The shrimp was wonderful too!!! Worth the drive!!! Try it, it will be your new favorite too. We are taking the whole family next time.

Only two waitresses were working and two cooks in back. That being said, the food was good and our waitress had a great attitude! Sure it was slow, but they were doing the best job they could. No complaints here.

Johnny's is the best family restaurant in town. They serve you with the most friendliest faces, and they do their job well. The food always tastes great. I go there often to meet with family and friends. They have high chairs and boosters so it makes it easier with children.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Food is always great and the staff is extremely kind. Definitely try the flounder
