Sherry's Sew What?

What a FANTASTIC shop!!! We visited yesterday during the Shop Hop. Owner Sherry was sooo helpful, as well as funny and delightful. Big fabric selection. And Batik fabrics for miles! She has fabric I haven't seen in other shops, so clearly Sherry has a good eye on what her customers will like. Her fat quarter and sale wall was amazing - I could've bought them all. While there, a customer came in, admired a quilt on the wall, but discovered the kit was sold out. Sherry promptly pulled out the fabric, cut her a new kit, and sent her on her way as a happy customer. Who does that?!? (In contrast, we went to a shop in War________n and were met with long lines of waiting customers and a rude employee. We walked out .) Though Sherry's shop is about 2 1/2 hours from home, we plan to make regular treks since the selection is great and Sherry is so accommodating. Come shop this shop and keep it open.

The best fabric store in the area. Beautiful fabrics and the staff is delightful and very helpful. If you are a quilter this is the a perfect place for you. They offer classes and advice. I truly enjoy browsing and shopping at Sherry's Sew What.

I came to Sherry with a very large task. I had MANY t-shirts that my husband wanted in a quilt. I sat down with her for almost an hour to explain, in much detail, how I wanted this quilt to look like. She took it like a pro! What I expected to take a few months took her only a little over a month! When I went to pick it up, she had surprised me with some very special detail in the quilt with her stitching. She OVERLY exceeded my expectations!! I will definitely be taking her some more shirts, or whatever project next, but I'll let her rest first after all that work! :) Thanks Sherry!!

This is THE place for Quilters and Embroidery folks. Wonderful fabrics and her classes accommodate beginners to semi- professionals. You will not find a more helpful and friendly store owner. ( projects from one class).

Love this shop. Great selection of fabrics. Shop owner, Sherry was wonderful. She helped us find specific patterns and fabric to go with the pattern. I will definitely travel to visit this shop again.

Sherry is a jewel to help you with your quilting problems. Very patient and easy to understand just what you need to know.

I got my thread and found a place to get my Singer Sewing Machine repaired in Henderson,NC.

Quilting class taught by very friendly and knowledgeable owner. I feel so fortunate to live a block away from this studio.
