Great prices, great selection! We went to buy a sail for our Hobie and ended up buying two additional Hobies! I’d drive 2.5 hours to you again anytime!!!

We recently purchased a Hobie Eclipse 12.0 from Lake Gaston Outfitters. When we visited their store for the first time, we were overly impressed with everything their store has to offer, it is just amazing. Next, Heidi and Dave took the time with us to explain all the features about the Eclipse. We eventually proceeded to purchase the Eclipse and it was delivered by Dave personally with what they call their “white glove” delivery service to customers in the lake Gaston area. Again, Dave took time to go over all the features for setting up the Hobie Eclipse. We are pleased to share that we have taken the Eclipse on the water and absolutely love the board. It is extremely stable, nimble to maneuver, and very fast. We thank Heidi and Dave for their patience and support as we made this purchase and look forward to doing more business with Lake Gaston Outfitters in the future!

Well we recently purchased a place at the lake and we were looking for kayaks. I have friends that told me to stop here and buy here. Well let me tell you this there is no other place like this around. The owners really care about their customers and go beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They treat you like family. I wish there were a lot more places like this and this country would be better off. You are buying the service and quality products and can trust the people are going to take care of you no matter what. We purchased 2 pro angler from here and a lot of accessories to go with it and they made sure we were happy for we left. Also when we were there it was close to closing and they did not push us out to close. The owner even delivered one of the kayaks for me and he did not have to do that. So if you read this review and you are looking for equipment to use around the lake or even take home you need to stop by and check them out. Even if you have to drive a few hours to get here it will be worth every dime you spend to meet the people here and purchase there products

I have an old Cannondale mountain bike that I used to ride pretty hard almost everyday. Then life happened and it's been put away for around 20 years. I decided it was time to get it out and try to breathe some life in to it. It needed a little more work than I could give it. I took it to Dave. He is very professional, knowledgeable and offers fair prices for quality work. The store provides equipment and services for a variety of outdoor activities not just biking. Can't say enough about these 2 great people. Been enjoying LKG for 15 years now and was blown away at the selection and hospitality. Dave and Heidi are amazing. Helpful in every way, great advice, insiders' experience, they know the lake, they know the gear, they know how to repair the gear. The store seems to focus on higher-end products and the owners seem to focus on really high-end service. Quality bike repairs? Who even does that any more? Who even has the equipment to do that properly? Great place.

Dave and Heidi are the best around for kayaks, paddle boards, and so much more! We purchased our kayaks a few years back, and Dave brought them right to our home that same day. This year, we wanted to look at mounting options and they were the experts to help us select what was right for us.

My husband and I traveled 2.5 hours to reach this store for a kayak and they did not disappoint! We purchased our kayak online and when we arrived, they were very helpful. We had never been to the area before and Dave was happy to show me the map and all of the fun things to do in the area and where we could paddle. He also shared about some of the group paddling events they have. His wife, Heidi gave us a crash course on proper paddling and useful tips. Then because it was dinner time, they referred us to a great local restaurant and we were able to enjoy the lake at dinner even though we only came to pick up the kayak. Great shop, looks like a cabin, feels like you're ready to jump into the outdoors, has many outdoor accessories and options to choose from and fair pricing, compatible with Amazon. I highly recommend LG Outfitters!!

We stopped in yesterday. What a great store. It is the first time I have seen Hobie kayaks in person. Expensive, but really cool tech. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely go back. I highly recommend it for you kayaking and cycling needs. They also have a selection of camping accessories like Lucy lights and water bottles, hammocks and some outdoor clothing.

This review is long overdue… I have many to catch up on. A while back, I had been wanting to upgrade my fishing kayak but was unable to really try one out. Dave and Heidi set up a kayak in the store and made sure I was able to climb in and do everything I needed to do, to insure I would be comfortable for hours on the water. They helped us get exactly what we needed, something other stores in bigger cities just did not take the time to do. And, when a total fluke happened with that kayak making it unable to purchase, Dave literally drove out of state that week and returned with another one to make sure I had one when I went home from vacation at the end of the week. They have also helped me with wheels, getting them shipped directly to my house, and several other accessories. Their generosity and customer service is truly above and beyond today’s norm. Thank you both very much. I am enjoying the Radar 115 very much.

My parents and I stopped here just checking out local shops, not knowing much about the area. We are SO glad we stopped here. Dave & Heidi are so sweet and very knowledgeable about all of the products in their store. The store itself is amazing! We had been wanting some insight about good wineries, interesting places to go etc… and they gave us many good ideas. If you need anything for your trip/time on the lake I 100% recommend this place!

Great folks! I brought in a bike wheel that had an issue with the rear sprocket this past Sunday. The owner was able to get me going for a 24 hour ride that started today in about 20 minutes. What are the chances of having someone help you on a Sunday? Great customer service, more than fair price! If you haven't been to Lake Gaston Outfitters you need to visit!
