Cannot say enough good about this place. My husband had originally been admitted to a local hospital for severe pain from gallbladder issues. The incompetence was unbelievable. Then we transferred here to Trident in North Charleston. Within minutes of arriving in his room, he was surrounded by nurses and doctors, all asking questions and developing a comprehensive profile on him. Within a few hours, he was being operated on.
All the staff and doctors are bright eyed, cheerful, very professional. The facility itself is very large but easy to navigate. I'm so relieved to have found this place. Thanks be to God for His great mercy.

My sister had to go to the ER today and she received the best care! Her doctor, Neil ( not sure if that’s his last name) and her nurse, Kaitlyn were not only professional, but very kind and caring . We could not thank them enough. We appreciate them and Trident Hospital!

I will not willingly use any other hospital/medical facility than Trident Medical. I avoid going to the doctor/hospital if at all possible, but unfortunately have had to go to the ER 3 times in 2023 and have 2 surgeries. Received excellent care each time from start to finish. They were even able to coordinate with my urologist and get me scheduled for kidney stone surgery the next day after my midnight ER visit. I was an "add-on", but they gave timely and excellent care. Thank y'all so much!!!

My husband and I are from Indiana we were visiting his sister in September of this year. He woke up the morning of September 22nd short of breath, we took him to Summerville Medical Center & they immediately transported him to Trident Regional. They took him straight to the cath lab, he coded, they intubated him and put in a Impella heart pump. Dr Marabel Schneider saved my husband's life. She is very professional and compassionate but to the point. She told me my husband was a very very sick man. I told her we had 3 grown daughters in Indiana and ask if they should come, she looked at me with a concerned face and said Yes. A dear woman named Dottie kept us informed on his status as they were preparing to take him to ICU. His first nurse in ICU was Courtney, I was told she had alot of experience in ICU and she was awesome! I was in his room from 4:00 until about 9:30 that night and she never left his room. The next day his nurse was Jodell and she was very professional and compassionate & caring. She truly is in the right profession! She answered my questions and assured me he was being monitored and Dr's were informed of any changes in his status. She not only was concerned about my husband but for me as well. She convinced me to go outside and get some fresh air and food. She told me if I didn't take care of myself I wouldn't be able to take care of him. She was so right!! Please tell Jodell thank you from the Day family !That evening Joey was his night nurse, he was very caring and considerate of his condition and assured me I could call during the night to check on his condition. Anytime I called ICU they were very nice and told me of changes that had happened since I had left the hospital. Our daughters arrived on Saturday night and they had alot of questions for the nurses on Sunday. Breezy ( sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong) was absolutely precious and she interacted with us as if we were family. Then she told me she was on the rapid response team on Friday morning and performed CPR on my husband. Then there are the Dr's that put their knowledge together to get my husband where he is today. Dr Michael Craig is a fantastic physician that spends countless hours in the ICU area. I saw him there day and night. I truly believe he lives at the hospital. Dr Darren Sidney was in ICU daily with updates as we were patiently waited for him to get stronger so they could put in the defibrillator. Dr Patrick Looser also came every day to report changes. I can't say enough about the staff and Dr's that put their knowledge together to get my husband were he is today. We are home now and I have to tell you the cardiologists here are very impressed and the hospital reports/ documentation that Trident has forwarded for his continued recovery. God Bless Trident Regional Hospital !!♡♡ THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THE PROFESSIONAL, COMPASSIONATE AND AWESOME CARE! David and Jana Day

I 1st off have nothing at all great to say about the ER staff. 2 Visits on the 9th of this month left me leaving with no notice and I was to be admitted. The 2nd visit I did stay and was admitted. But before I got to my 1st bed I was treated horrible by the nursing staff. The Dr's and Dr's assistants were fabulous. Hence leaving the 5 stars. These stars go out to every nurse and Dr I dealt with once I was put into a room off from the ER. I was there due to my chest pain. The cardiologist nurses and staff on the 1st floor were beyond amazing. Once I was placed on the 3rd floor cardiovascular, the staff was beyond amazing and fantastic. I was treated with upmost respect and as a person. I can not thank the floor staff, resident Dr's and my cardiologist team, all of them for being such wonderful caring people. So as long as your not in the ER long which I was you will get great service from so beautiful and amazing care givers. I must note that the only nurse on the er floor that is amazing and great and has a most amazing personality is Paul. But all other of the ER staff and ER staff only are horrible nightmares to deal with.
Thank you to everyone except the er staff ( excluding Paul) for everything have done and continue to do. Floor 3 all shifts were 👏.

The staff here is amazingly kind. They pay excellent attention to patients and their needs, and the same for patients' families. My experience is mostly based on the nursing staff, who have just been fantastic.

My visit to Trident Regional Medical Center was for routine screening as part of my yearly wellness check up. The care and attention I received were amazing. Kind, courteous, and respectful of my privacy was the order of the day. Of course, this is no surprise to me, as I have never received anything but the very best care whenever I am being treated at Trident Regional Medical Center. Thank you for continued outstanding service.

My experience at Trident tech was excellence all around. I came in describing symptoms, sounding like a stroke and within three minutes, I was on a gurney, talking to a neurologist over a TV mounted at the foot of my gurney.. I had an MRI in the first half hour I was there. They take their work very seriously and they do it extremely well. The rest of my visit in the hospital itself I was also excellent. The nurses were attentive and funny, and the doctors were very informative and patient, working diligently to find a diagnosis. They sincerely took an interest in making me better. I can’t imagine a better hospital and a better ER in Trident.

They were wonderful! I had got my time for the appointment mixed up, I came in late, they were gracious and was able to see me anyway. I appreciate their kindness.
I have used them for many years for just my mammogram and now also use them for my bone density scan! They are courteous, caring , and professional.
I will continue to go there for my breast and bone care.

The intake worker was very polite and professional. The woman who did my exam was also polite, professional and knowledgeable. The machine was not uncomfortable, like it was during my only other mammogram 17 years ago. I'm happy that I was in and out in a decent amount of time.

I am fortune to have only three hospitalization during my 75 years but enough experience to know good versus bad management and service. The three day, two night stay at Trident (HCA) Medical Center not only generated positive results but was actually quite pleasant. Staff was cordial and attentive; accommodations efficient but comfortable; and the food was first class with a creative menu that was anything but "typical bland hospital food". If one must be hospitalized Trident in North Charleston would be my choice over all peers.

The hospital took great care of me! The only thing I would change is expand your emergency room or utilize other hospitals. That poor emergency room nurse . He was over loaded. I don’t even know how he kept his cool. That desk should be honored by the CEO. Which probably has no clue how hard they work! The janitor was an amazing black man working hard with two huge tubs to help all the other employees. The lady Chaplin was amazing. The reason I can write so much is because I waited 6 hours on my bed,by the desk. Monks corner hospital had me plenty prepared to wait. Hallelujah! I believe 3 traumas came in from 95 highway. What a sight to see. Finally the next open bed opened for me. Everyone took great care of me and I am grateful for the hospital! Please branch out to those other small hospitals. That would help tremendously! Gods peace! Thank you!

As always,I received excellent care during my last visit to the ER. I was seen right away, never any waiting.
Dr.s and staff showed compassion and concern with my High Blood Glucose. After 3 hours on a drip I was released to go home, feeling fine.

I love the efficiency and compassion of the ladies. They work hard to ensure my comfort especially when it come to the inevitable discomfort that comes from all mammograms at any medical center. If you're looking for a safe and compassionate plate to check your breast, this is the place to go. IT IS IMPORTANT so do not fear to come here. They walk you through it

Each and every professional I came in contact with was courteous, pleasant and as importantly, helpful to me while I came into and stayed in the emergency room. The X-ray and MRI folks took the time and explained everything they were doing and why. The nurses and admitting personnel were especially nice and also showed empathy for my situation. The doctor who also took care of me listened and cared for me as if I was his only patient that day. I was very glad the ambulance brought me to Trident.

My father was involved a car wreck about 45 minutes from trident medical. He came in a level 2 trauma. He has had some medical issues since I was a kid so we’re been through a bunch of hospitals in FL. Trident has been absolutely amazing! Great bedside manner and care that continues daily. Thank you for your care!

When I received my PET scan the tech did a wonderful job. My mind isn’t good but I believe his name was Charlie. He’s awesome. Patient, kind and empathetic which is what you need when you are going through cancer. He deserves a raise.

Always nice, professional and fast at the Breast Care Center. I had done mammograms and specialty ultrasounds every 6 months for 2-3 years now. Very friendly staff, always made me feel comfortable.
