Nice area to hike along the Harpeth. It's mostly a field, so is easily navigable compared to some of the other parks nearby. I would recommend sun protection in the summer, as there is little shade unless you venture off the trail.

This is an amazing park. Do yourself a favor and check out the events calendar; there are so many wonderful programs, both daytime and evening activities. Perfect for families or anyone who loves the beauty of this area.

Even when the river is low, the water is still deep. When I went it was a little over a foot most other places but here it was about 4 foot. There is wildlife to see along the river like like cranes, hawks, geese, and more. The park has a large, open, grassy area and a big section of sunflowers.

We did both the Harris Bridge Trails and the hidden lake trails. It was a great day! The trails we just enough for us to feel active but not exhausted! Both places had great views and water. :)

Nice place to launch kayaks or canoes. Pretty peaceful place. The current isn't too strong nor incredibly deep. Has some good tree coverage to keep you out of the sun.

Beautiful place to visit. We ventured here after the snow melted. Trail was difficult to travel due to the mud. Otherwise it was a great hike.

Great little hiking area! Flat hiking through the grass, some wooded areas. Narrows and hidden lake area are nicer hikes for more content and views

A bit small but very well kept and a great area to get s view on the bluff and access to the harpeth river
