My favorite Chinese food place was closed, but this one was a few minutes away so we decided to try it. Prices were reasonable for portions, and service was nice. We came and saw their dining room wasn’t open, so I ordered online and it was super straightforward. The food was ready within 20 minutes, which was pretty good. The food itself was a little lackluster. The chicken and broccoli I ate tasted a little strange. The wontons were also lacking in taste and filling. But, nonetheless, it scratched my itch for Chinese food, and I would not be opposed to coming here again.

This is exactly what you want chinese food to taste like. General Tso and curry chicken are absolutely delicious. Gas. Fire. Go and order quarts in everything and you’ll be leaving a review like this too.

I have been going to China Chef for 14 years. I’ve never been disappointed in the food. They are very friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend China Chef.

This place rocks. The food was excellent and plenty of it. It was fresh and well cooked! We got take out and were very pleased. Mongolian Beef and Szechuan Chicken rocked 😃!!!

I cannot speak for all menu items, but the Lg sweet & sour chicken with a side of rice will not disappoint, this place will have your chicken busting out the container. Portion size is Fire. All you can do is give it a try, I have never had a issue with these kind and professional couple ever. Fast, efficient, and consistent!... That's what's up for me 🥡😁

I love this family owned Chinese take-out spot in Murrells Inlet. Their food is delicious, their service is quick, and their online order system is easy. The fried wings are incredible and so are their dumplings. I’m a noodle lover, and I love their vegetable lo mien. Definitely give this place a chance.

We didn't have a car the nite we ordered they didn't deliver! They were so nice the owner said he'd bring it me! I had 3 kids to feed i really didn't no what I was gonna do? Then we got the food it was so good , still hot n fresh!!!! Great place everyone! N they diff no what to do for there customers!!! Thanks again guys! We will b bk!

Every time I have ordered food it has been delicious and so full of flavor. The shrimp rolls are always nice and crisp and not oily. Wonton soup has such nice flavor. Portions are very good. I have not had anything that was not delicious. Thank you to all who work there for a great job and pride in what you make.

We make the extra few miles drive to pickup our order here, Not the closest Chinese food to us, and everyone we recommend it to has also continued to go the extra distance to enjoy their food. the spicy dishes are on the lower scale of spicy, so make sure you let them know what level of spicy you want. Also we have noticed SC Chinese restaurants are bigger on the meat side and not many veg. in the dishes, so we always order the Veg delight as well. and the bigger container (the Quart vs Pint) last a few meals and is the best bargain. ( and don't forget to throw in a Tip, I have watched them make the stuff and its work) enjoy! Update : 3 years later and we still go here every time we want Chinese, even after trying others..just appreciate their food.

A few families staying in town for the week ordered from here for takeout tonight. They are not currently delivering. They have a curbside system in place and you can not enter the location, which is great. We didn't have any expectations and were shocked at how good the food was. There were 10 of us eating and order about $55 of food and had leftovers! My favorites were the pork fried rice, egg rolls, and steamed dumplings. Everyone liked what they ordered and we'd totally recommend China Chef and may order one more time this week :)

Today was our first time and we got take out; props to China Chef for keeping it safe - easy online ordering, touchless food pickup and payment through door drops. Friendly service, fast and hot food. We had wonton soup, steamed dumplings and egg rolls to remedy a wicked head cold - the house hot mustard fixed us up fast and the food was so fresh and authentic we are thinking about going back tomorrow for more.

Tried it for the first time and really liked the taste and flavors of the food more than any other Chinese restaurants that I have eaten at. Will return to this location. All the dishes that I ordered for a party of 5 was excellent. Was not salty or greasy. Good staff and service.

We were told they were friendly and their food was great BUT... it was even better than that!! We think they are AWESOME 💯!!

I waited an hour for my takeout, but it was worth it. The food was delicious and the prices are amazing. We ordered a little bit of everything. I also loved how they converted the door into a Covid friendly takeout window. Friendly staff. We'll be back.

We found this small storefront restaurant at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant provides take out as well as some booths to eat at. Very casual but neat environment.The roast pork was excellent: 3 large omelets with plenty of brown sauce. The hot and sour soup was flavorful but not too spicey. The chicken and broccoli was flavorful and served over pork fried rice. Prices were fair and portion sizes were generous. We plan to return when we come back to Mrytle Beach.

Ordered General Tso chicken, moo goo gai pan, and crab rangoons. Absolutely delicious! Quick service, even when they are busy. And friendly! I'll be back!

Good Chinese food!!!! The employees are super friendly and our food was ready quick. I would absolutely go back.
