I just love the staff here! Always so knowledgeable and eager to listen to your project and offer helpful solutions. I come anytime I can avoid the big box stores for this specific reason.

Always someone to show you where anything is you're looking for. Always get My keys made there they've never made a bad cut. Friendly convenient and always helpful. I've shopped here a few times over the years and always received excellent service - finally decided to write a review.

Most recently, I needed two replacement Honda van keys cut (double-sided). I brought in some blank "blades" I had bought online, and after giving me a standard disclaimer that "if it doesn't work, all I can refund is the key cutting fee (I can't replace the blank keys)," the gentleman who helped me produced two *perfect* replicas of the original. He also patiently waited while I tested each of them in my door lock and ignition to confirm they worked, and even charged me a lower price than their posted pricing (unless I misread it)! He charged $3 per key, and the posted list seemed to say that double-cut keys are $5 each.

Note: I still had our original "fobs" so didn't need reprogramming, just cutting, but it sounded like they can do it all (both selling the fobs and doing the programming), but I'd confirm that with them ahead of time if that's what you're looking for.

Either way, I was very thankful for the prompt, courteous, excellent, and affordable service, and now I know where I'll be coming the next time we need keys cut again! :) Thanks!!

They had all the hard to find sizes and grades of nuts, bolts, and washers that I needed. Went to 6 places before there. Staff was friendly and very helpful, clean, organized store.

Been going to Blackwell's for over 30 years.its never been anything but great.theres a very good reason they've been open as long as they have.its as simple as they have wonderful people working there and their dogs come to work with them.everybody should follow Blackwell's examples

On my call to your store associates Mike and Matt were both very helpful without hesitation! Even with my awful description of what I was looking for Mike knew what it was and took time to check if in stock. Mike and Matt worked as a team to accommodate and I was impressed. Everytime I go to the big box stores the associates down know whats in their own faces. 2 thumbs up! Thanks for the mailbox information.

Great local hardware and sundry store. They are able to help with expert advice on home projects. They are a wonderful resource. Not a big box store, so smaller selection, but they have what you need to get any job done, indoor or out.

When it comes to having to get stuff for my business, I always go to Blackwell true value hardware. The guys there are very helpful and they always guide me in the right direction on how to fix the situation that I'm in or create an idea to help me fix the situation. Although some of the things that I get might be cheaper at Lowe's or home Depot but I don't get the same attention from the bigger stores than I do from Blackwell. They personalized the visit and that's worth every dollar I spend there.

Great experience!! I went in to have a copy of my house key (which I picked a beautiful signature one 😃 and the key worked!!) an I asked the man if he knew where the compressor hose's where. Just a last minute thought of my hubby needing something an he works all the time so it was a just because impulse purchase an $50ish an I'm walking out with EVERYTHING my husband could possibly EVER need for his New Compressor I got him for Christmas. Now had the man at LOWE'S did NOT offer or show me the "accessories" or extras you . purchase. So when I returned to our new home I made my husband's DAY!!! The store is freshly remodeled on the front. Friendly staff an environment!! As for me and my family, we will ALWAYS be regular customers at Blackwell's True Value where they always say "Hi, welcome to Blackwell"s how are you doing today?" when you walk in the door

I’m in this place twice a week probably, and they’re always so nice and quick to help with anything. I walked in there today and had no idea there was a cut on my forehead with some dried blood around it. Not only did 3 of the people working let me know about it and asked if I was okay, when I went to check out, she had a tissue waiting for me and the other guy tried to give me a Band-Aid.

They even seem genuinely interested in my camper project and make it a point to ask about it whenever I go in.

Small things like that are what make local businesses special, and why we need them in our communities. So the next time you make a trip to Lowe’s or Home Depot, think about stopping at Blackwell True Value Hardware Store instead, or whatever locally owned hardware store is in your area.

This is an awesome place. Staff is top notch. There's a lot available in this place, including lumber. Do yourself a favor the next time you have a project you want to work on and stop in here first. Sure, it may cost you a bit more than going to the MegaStore, but you don't have the hassle of 1) finding an employee, 2) finding an employee who is actually in the correct department and 3) the guys and gals here actually KNOW their inventory!!!!

And if they don't have it, they can tell you what locations would likely sell it.

Always extremely helpful. I did not realize it until a few trips in, how much more they had out in the garage side of the building, lumber and more. Always try and support here before heading over to the big guys!!

Great little neighborhood store. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you find what you need. It isn't big like Lowe's, but if they can help you, they will gladly.
