I love York electric, especially during hard times they are always willing to work out a payment agreement. There customer service is always so friendly and kind on the phone. Thank God I’m not in a area where I was going to be stuck with Duke energy, they are the worse electric company out there! York electric all the way!

So thankful for the two men who just worked through a downpour at 9 o’clock on a Sunday night so my family could have air conditioning and running water. They were so very nice and polite after what I know has been a long day due to storms and we are very grateful. Outstanding service.

An Absolutely EXCELLENT SERVICE PROVIDER FOR YORK/ROCK HILL/CLOVER AREAS! I needed a proof of residency for my child's registry for school, and Mrs. Bonnie helped my father and I tag team the paperwork via email and got us all straightened out in a timely manner! Had a problem wit
h someone who changed account without my knowledge. Was corrected and promptly fixed.

I had to deal with York electric when some guys cutting a tree limb down crashed it down on top of my powerline, causing it to end up being 3 feet off the ground. I made the decision to have the powerline put underground which involved a lot of coordination between York Electric, the electrician doing the job and the inspector. I had been very sick and was very stressed out about getting all this completed. But the people at York electric from Brandy, who answered the phone, (Shauntey Polite with On Time Electrical Co.)- who helped me greatly by coordinating all this and John L. Good the staking engineer, they all went out of their way to see that the job got done as expeditiously as possible , to limit the time I would be without power. John Good had previously set up the transferring of the power line being rerouted to a different pole, York electric did the trenching for the new pole and removed an old pole. The electrician came at 8 o’clock this morning to trench another power line under ground and by the time everything got inspected and York Electric Cooperative cut my power back on I had only been without power for only 2 1/2 hours. I am so grateful for the conscious effort everyone at York Electric put in order to make my life so much easier. I want to thank them and let them know I am very happy with their services.

I love the staff they are friendly and very helpful. When our power goes out, they are quick to respond. I Love my Coop!!!

So far I am extremely pleased, I had someone help me set up my service and they were extremely polite. You want to see poor service look at Cobb EMC reviews, not only are they horrible at customer service they are also EXTREMELY Expensive, my bill is over half of what it was

You have been our electric provider for over 20 years and you have responded to several transformers hit by lightning in the middle of the night, taken trees off our lines when we could not and your employees are always kind to answer our questions and put our needs as a priority. We appreciate you very much! CS

During the storm our electricity went out for 1 hour. We never made a phone call. The lineman were already in the area ready to get the electric back up. Thank you , you are appreciated !! I'm sure you don't hear that enough.

We have been with YEC service for the last 40 years at our current home and 10 years before that in our previous address. Service has always been great with quick and professional employees.

A Great Power Company. I have been a customer since 1983 I have always been pleased with service in both customer service with billing and power outages.I have dealt with other large for profit power companies and by far YEC is the best.

They have wonderful customer service, being a small business they located lines day of for us to do septic work.
