I had an amazing experience here purchasing my car. Tresor Dagbe was so patient with me while I waited for my insurance check to come. I drive all the way from Wesley Chapel, NC to the Rock Hill Nissan. They are kind, professional, friendly, and honest. Andres Munoz, the service advisor, was attentive, explained well and in detail what my car needed. I never felt any pressure to approve repairs. If you want people who actually, genuinely care about your business… look no further. I went, it didn’t work, they called and discussed with me why. We spent a short conversation on the phone and Vince, Kyhree and Jason worked for four days to make it right. Not for just me but my wife as well. They never made us feel like a nuisance, more like family. They have been the most polite and helpful I can imagine. My wife loves her new Rock Creek Pathfinder. They are amazing and I would give them six stars if I could!

Tre deserves a raise. Even though he’s no longer in Georgia he made buying my new car so easy. At the end of everything i had not a single question. I had a beautiful experience here at Rock Hill Nissan. My journey began July 21 when I went looking for a used Nissan Armada.

Before leaving I ran into Danya who informed me they had another Armada they would be taking in on trade. I told her I was interested in it. She told me as soon as the customer’s new Pathfinder came in she would let me know.

She kept updating me until the customer took delivery of their new vehicle today. Darnell Bacon was my salesperson today. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make this deal happen.

I got a good price on this vehicle and a fair trade in value for mine. I couldn’t be happier.
If you need a vehicle like I did but won’t trade value for being treated well then go to Rock Hill Nissan.

TLDR:

The dealership treated me very well. Danya, JACOB, and everyone else I worked with went above and beyond to give me a chance to own a car I'm very happy with. All without being pushy, or even once trying to sell me a car I wasn't interested in. No market adjustment, no petty behavior, no conditions for a test drive, no SELLING A CAR OUT FROM UNDER ME... Just a great (albeit lengthy) experience. This is how buying a car should be.

The WHOLE story:

A few weeks ago the Kio Rio I had been using every day to commute starting acting strangely. It was a borrowed family vehicle that had over 338000 miles on it, so when the transmission finally started to go it was somewhat expected. Unfortunately, it began to lose its fourth/final gear just as I was transitioning into a new line of work, putting me in a major bind. My options were:

A) invest in a long term replacement
B) spend X amount of $ to extend the life of the vehicle ? amount of time
C) attempt to commute by bicycle

Up until this point I had been using borrowed, family, and/or work vehicles for years, so it had been awhile since purchasing/financing my own. In addition, I had been actively trying to repair my credit and insurance rates. To top it all off, my previous visits to car dealerships had really left me with a negative impression of the whole process, and little hope to boot. Needless to say, when my friend showed me an offer on a car I was interested in... I was a bit reluctant. It was a 2018 Mazda MX-5 Club with roughly 18k miles on it. Small, sporty, fuel efficient...and it had a manual gearbox. I had wanted an enjoyable car for years, and wasn't going to buy anything again until I could find just that. So, out of curiosity I contacted Rock Hill Nissan and asked them for more info and a test drive.

I spoke with Dayna first. She was the internet saleswoman for the dealership, and quickly put me in contact with Jacob. At the same time Jacob reached out to me via email and phone, giving me a video presentation of the vehicle, as well as addressing my concerns. Together the three of us scheduled a visit to the dealership to test drive the MX-5. In the meantime I did some more digging, determined the asking price was fair, and surprisingly, got a decent quote for coverage from my insurance provider. The only thing left to do was drive it. When the weekend finally came, I made the two hour trip on backroads in my ailing Kia Rio. It got me there, but it was obviously no longer suitable for this kind of driving, especially via the interstate. I arrived at the dealership where Jacob welcomed me, and we spoke for a bit before getting the car ready. It was already evening, but still plenty of light to get a good walkaround of the vehicle. He showed me where everything was and we started her up. I scared him a bit with my questions about shifting, but we both quickly realized I still knew how to drive stick. (Thank you, Jacob. I still think that was funny.) First we drove around the area surrounding the dealership, and then once I was comfortable with the gearing, we took it out on the interstate. This wasn't hurried, and he gave me plenty of time to just drive and talk. I even missed my exit once, lol. The car was amazing, the music was good, and the company was great.

By the time we arrived back at the dealership I knew I wanted the car, but I still had no idea how things would go. Fortunately though, Jacob and his team were able to help me take home that MX-5. I've enjoyed her company for almost a week now, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone at Rock Hill Nissan for giving me this opportunity.

The car could have been detailed a little bit better BUT nothing an extra vacuum and wipe down couldn't fix.

Now this is the first time I was getting a vehicle from a dealership and I was just looking seeing what I could find and mostly looking for my dream car and then I did. A 2016 golf gti . I got a message from Shane Youngblood asking me questions about it and well he answered all my questions and sent me personalized videos about the vehicle and that’s when I knew he cared. We had only texted for the week until we set up a time that I could go see the car and man was I excited. First thing in the morning I get up and go and wow when I got there everyone was very nice. Shane talked me about about all the boring paperwork stuff in a well manner while giving me space to talk and didn’t rush me in anyway. And when we did agree on some terms and took me to see the car the financing process was very simple and might I add with someone with amazing style too. Over all a wonderful place to get a great vehicle shopping experience. 😁

Best car buying experience imaginable! Shane Youngblood was the greatest person to work with he understood exactly my needs and wants with buying this new car. Shane really worked with me on trading in my lemon and getting my Nissan kicks no pressure at all! Will definitely be coming back for our next car here. Everyone at this dealership is so friendly and welcoming. One of the greatest parts is they have a play room for kids so your littles aren’t bored and running around while your doing paperwork.

The entire management team lacks knowledge in the vehicle registration process and they depend on the sales representatives to have the knowledge that they lack. The only reason why I am not giving this dealership a 1 star is because out of the two vehicles I purchased only one has given me issues and the last representative was great. I started to get frustrated at the attitude the management team was given to me and I began to raise my voice after three hours of them saying the same thing and ignoring my issue. As soon as I started to get loud a representative came over and asked me to lower my voice. I explained to him that the management was repeating themselves like a computer and telling me the same information that I had on the legal documents which was not related to my issue. He immediately understood what I was explaining to him did not tell me what the papers say and gave me a solution in less than 10 minutes although I was there with management for 3 hours and they still did not fix the issue. I am grateful that they have employees that do know and understand the issues without giving attitude to the customers and walking off and then getting mad when the customer gets frustrated because they do not understand what the issue is. Management needs to take comprehension courses and conflict management courses as well or Nissan should hire individuals who don't just know how to file paperwork, but understand how the entire process works and can solve the issue within company policy instead of brushing people off and acting like people cannot read the documents. At least I did read the entire contract before I went in person to the dealership.

We were greeted pleasantly at the front desk and met Danya for our appointment. She introduced us to Linda, our sales representative. She arranged for our test drive in the Nissan Rogue we were interested in. We were very happy having a chance to check out the true performance on I-77 and then the side roads. Impressed with the vehicle, we were ready to make a deal. Linda was very informative and put us at ease throughout the purchasing process. Since it was late, we returned the next day to meet with Linda and she went over all the features and options in great detail.
