Hope Station Trailhead Of The Palmetto Trail Peak To Prosperity Passage

Nice calming walk. We did 4 miles in about 2 hours.

The BEST TRAIL HEAD off of the "Palmetto Trail" so far!!!Only been to Pomaria and this one. It was absolutely beautiful. The trestle over the river is RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING of the trail. Also, at the beginning of the trestle is a huge board with a map in it to help There are brochures and activities to interest people and Kids OF ALL AGES! As soon as I stepped on the trestle I saw a river otter who disappeared before I could get a picture. Saw many hawks, beautiful birds, and 100s of turtles. Plan to make this a weekly hike!! My new favorite spot and wish it was a secret🤣🤐🤔

Found a secret army hidden on old railway bridge. Al's a grave yard for old railway ties.

It was a great day for an outside walk. People should have their dogs on a leash. There was one guy with two dogs and one was a pitbull. The first time we passed he restrained the Pitbull but then the next time we past going the opposite way his Pitbull was off leash. A little scary to me because I've already been attacked by another dog. Oh well idiots are everywhere.

This is a very nice rail trail. It had pretty views the whole way and was very clean.

Nice area. There are dozens of trestle bridges along this route. But this is only one section of a 500 mile long trail that leads from Oconee County to Charleston.
