SCDNR York Express Licensing Office

I always do my business with DNR in person, the staff is extremely helpful always pleasant, and knowledgeable, during peak hours ( hunting season, or start of boating/ fishing season) there can be a line but they try to move the line fast.

The SCDNR office gave great service. There was a line, and it moved slowly, but the one person working in there did well and moved things along as best she could.

Jolene (SP?) Was amazing. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to help me and made sure I understood everything! Her service was a 10 out of 10! We need more people like Jolene in this world!

OK after reading some of the other Reviews, I can agree with some of the info BUT I still believe it's really a Great place because I can walk in & out with my Hunt License & Doe Tags, or my Boat #s. I've been in a pickle waiting till the last minute & I was able to get everything taken care of in one visit. You can't beat that. Not only that BUT Jolene is so Helpful & eager to Help. She knows her stuff. She can point you in the right direction or hand walk you to your destination, in a matter of speaking. lol. It is hard to get someone on the phone & the hours of business can be hard to determine. I believe that's because this Lil office gets so busy & there is usually just 1, maybe 2 people there. There lunch hours vary so that also presents a problem at times.

Come on Guys and Ladies!!! The business hours are Posted on the window to the left, and I believe it has been there for a while because it is sun faded. Also, this place has no CALL WAITING, so that is something that should reflect on the state, not on these nice ladies. I know this place and the ladies are awesome!!!!! You wanna try a difficult place? Try the NC wildlife resources commission!!!

These two ladies at the scene are so helpful. Every time I go there they are friendly and really knowledgeable on everything boating related. Thank you for all your help!!!

They have always been super good to me. Easy to deal with. Show up give them paper work they give you things its easy

Is this a office or someone's home because I see no government buildings

Walked in with 12 guys in front of me. Was there 10 mins and walked out with tags..friendly and got the job done fast.

Always friendly, helpful, never a problem in 25 plus years, of going there.
