Velocity Credit Union (Downtown branch & ATM)

Crystal Garza is amazing! I was really in a tight spot and she listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to assist me. Customer service is a lost art form but it’s really good to see it’s important to her. I’ve been with Velocity since 2008 and now will never leave. Thank you Crystal!

I am extremely pleased with all Velocity Credit Union locations, staff and services. I love that I get paid 2 days before payday. With other institutes, I had to wait the entire weekend before getting paid. I know they will say the comptroller is controlling the funds to be released, but trust me, Velocity is great on the 2 day advanced payment. Also, the customer service is wonderful and accommodating. They are thorough in explaining things to me and I leave the phone call very satisfied. I highly recommend Velocity Credit Union!

I was trying to apply for a debt consolidation loan, and I could not get approved through anyone else for the amount needed. I have a vehicle loan with Velocity Credit Union, so I decided to apply for a loan with them. I was approved immediately for the lowest interest rate anyone else was offering. The whole process was so simple and easy, and I received the funds same day! I cannot thank Velocity Credit Union enough for all their help.

I left Velocity for a short while for a checking account at Amplify. While Amplify is zero fees, their lending department has a lot that needs to be done to improve. Velocity has my car note, and a personal loan. Recently, they assisted me with getting a new master card with a great zero % rate for balance transfer. I will be out of debt soon, aside from my car and it is because of Velocity's guidance and help. I have moved my checking account back to Velocity. It's good to be home, I have been a member since April of 2015.

CANDIE!!! She is awesome. When I went to the location, it was packed... then she came out and asked about the services we wanted and it just so happened I was the only one who could work with her. She was kind, patient, charismatic, and very detail oriented. She processed all of my documents in a timely manner and they were accurate which is the most important thing when you are dealing with money. WAY TO GO CANDIE!!

Had a phenomenal experience with Martin at the Round Rock branch! He got us in and taken care of in under an hour despite the fact we brought him a lot of tasks to complete! It was so easy and he did a great job of being personable and professional. Thanks, Martin!!

I have received nothing but excellent customer service from my interactions with Velocity employees. The professionalism, knowledge and personal service I've got from Candie, TT and Fran was exceptional. I highly recommend Velocity as a great place to do business.

Ms Fran, was very. Professional friendly, and she took her time with answering my questions, and then helping me with what I needed to accomplish on this visit. What I also liked she reached out to other depts to answer some other questions had. Business transaction went smoothly.

Here at Velocity the customer service is Triple A EXCELLENT and I especially want to say Fran is great, I would recommend anyone to go to her for services, the way she explains things is very informative. She got me approved for a credit card and helped me learned things about my credit, she was very patient and very nice. Velocity is most definitely the best credit union. Everyone is like family here.

We went in to talk about our auto loan and Candie made sure we were well taken care of and gave us all the information about our loan we needed. She went way above and beyond to get the answers for us and made sure we didn’t leave until everything was squared away. We will most definitely be doing business with her only.

I love this credit union. There are numerous benefits and rewards for being a member. It is easy and simple to open and maintain an account or multiple accounts. You have questions they have answers. Custom service is top tier!!

Fran at the downtown location and Maria at operations worked relentlessly to get me a stop payment on an unauthorized $10k charge. I am so thankful to them for their hard work and diligence!

My mom fell victim to a scammer and she almost lost her entire savings. Fran at this branch immediately jumped into Hero mode, got her accounts squared away, and totally saved the day. So grateful for the staff here!
