Buda Amphitheater & City Park

Went for the first time today and was very impressed. Great splash pad (and you could smell the chlorine so I was confident it was clean water), covered picnic tables, restrooms, smaller kid playground area and larger kid playground area. Only things that would make it better are more benches closer to the play areas (we brought chairs), and some more shade. Parking is convenient and nearby so you’re not having to lug stuff far away. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful spot.. so much for kiddos the enjoy. Beautiful open spaces. Once those trees grow to hight its going to be eve more stunning. Even the big kids have a blast

The Buda Amphitheater & City Park is a fantastic public space for such a small town! Located just a block from downtown, and a short drive south from Austin, it's a gorgeous area. It's easy to get to from I-35 and the green space is beautiful and welcoming. My wife and I recently attended the 27th Annual Buda Wiener Dog Races hosted by the Buda Lions Club, and the venue was an ideal setting for the event. The BBQ Cook-off, the outdoor setting for vendors and the pavilion housing the food booths were all well accommodated. The amphitheater itself was perfect for the entertainment and an impressive facility.
The races themselves were a blast! Bailey made the finals in her first outing, but got distracted in her last race. We'll try again next year.

I think 5 stars is appropriate. Great outdoor area. When there is an event, plenty of bathrooms, food vendors, and arts and craft vendors. Great sound from the amphitheater. Overall great place to take the family.

We happened to be in Austin during Buda's 143rd birthday celebration. It was an amazing event, especially with Shakey Graves and the drone show - they were pretty awesome!

The best farmer's market is under the shaded pavilion (basketball court) every Sunday 10am-2pm! It is so enjoyable to be under the cover and actually get to sit and enjoy some snacks instead of roasting in some parking lot and running for your life afterwards! 😂
Did I mention that there is not only delicious food, coffee, and creative things, but there are PLANTS!! 🌿💚

Such a nice park. The city of Buda has done a great job with this one. The facilities are well maintained. The grounds are fairly accessible for those with mobility issues. There is a large amphitheater and field for events. Really great park for the small town of Buda.

City of Buda does a great job of creating a relaxing place to hang out with family and friends. It's well maintained and clean restrooms, splash pad, volleyball court and playscape so everyone can enjoy their stay. They have several tables so people can even have birthday parties with BBQ grills. Football, baseball, basketball practices are all part of the fun. You can even go to their website and register and reserve a spot.

I went with my daughter for the Wenier dog race. It was fun and great food. My grand puppy didn't make the finals but he sure was a weiner lol

Buda Farmer Market opens at 10 AM on Sundays. It is worth a visit. Very nice people, an inviting community environment, refreshments and allot of healthy food. Flowers too.

Walking distance from the shops and restaurants on Main Street. A good Sunday.

The place is surronded by a beautiful park, have basketball yard, voleiball net, family friendly with a playground that keep kids busy and active. My kids like to rollerskate, ride their bikes, play ball, baseball, or whach the train pass (is the best thing ever according to my toddlers). The location is perfectly close to a mobile food trucks with menu choices for the whole family. We planning to try and fly a kite this comming summer.

Great playground with multi leveks and nature play! Almost all of the equipment is wood!!! They even had seesaws! They had a splash pad, but it seems to be closed for the season. My son says the bathroom was clean and they had a water bottle filling station. My kids did not want to leave this playground!

This has officially become my kids favorite park. They had a lot of fun doing the obstacle course and climbing the wall. They have bbq pits near the picnic table area. Plenty of restrooms. Great park to find lots of things to do.

Obsessed with this park. So clean and quiet, everyone was just enjoying their day. Sand pits for the kids, both big and little playgrounds, nice size splash pad. So happy to have such a beautiful park!

New Buda children park area. Wide play area, many challenging structures for children, I encourage supervision but appreciate the 'free range' children elements of the park. The park has a water play area, not running in the winter but should be great in the summer months. Nice open picnic benches without shelter. Small sand volleyball area, good for group play. Nice single person bathrooms with common hand washing area.

Beautiful park display, lots of fun!

This is a wonderful spot to take your family. I was working for the 4th of July at the amphitheater. Nice crowd with great entertainment and food.

Great place for kiddos to get out and stretch their legs. Nice place to practice riding that bike, throwing the Frisbee, and kicking the soccor ball around, too. Seems no matter what the age, that Union Pacific train always causes kids young and old pause and watch it for a moment as it chugs by maybe every hour. Adults, if you are wondering, there is good comfort food nearby.

A beautiful park for residents. Splash pads for kids, pavilion to block the sun, nice bathrooms, and sand volleyball tournaments.
