Great food and good service by Lauren. Huge restaurant, decorated inside & out very well.

This place was very impressive! The atmosphere I believe was the most influential part, everything was lovely and bright and colorful! I had the lunch fajitas, they were delicious (im not a huge fan of the type of meat they use, like the texture of the chicken, but it was still seasoned really great and tasted good) We also had a burrito that was great!

We have been going to Cafe Del Rio for over 20 years. Have always enjoyed the place. The prices are not bad and the service is very good. We absolutely love going to Del Rio. Update: 9-30-23 We are here and this time the service wasn't the best. Probably the worst service we ever had here. There's salsa tasted like cold tomato paste. Also our waitress would check on the tables beside us and totally pass out up. We was there for a good bit of time and it was upsetting she was constantly checking on the tables to the right and to the left of us and very little on us. Other than the salsa tasting like cold tomato paste, the tostitos we're just about burnt and the guacamole had a very strong garlic taste. This is the only time I have ever had a complaint about this place so I'm hoping it's just a bad day. It was disappointing.

Stopped by for lunch, had soup and salad. I was surprised on the food portion. Salad had a lot of beef, needs less beans more lettuce in my opinion. But definitely good, service was great and fast for being as busy as they were.

I'd love to start off by saying that our waitress Meghan was very friendly and sociable, my friends and I had a few long conversations with her when she stopped by to check on us. It just felt like we were talking to an old friend and it was very welcoming.

We ordered queso for the table as well as plenty of Tortillas and I could've ate just the tortillas and been satisfied, that's how good they are.

My main meal was delicious, I ate as much as I could because it was so good, but it was also filling and filled me up just enough. Del Rio is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area, definitely would recommend it if you've never been before

We enjoy stopping in at Del Rio. The restaurant is always clean and service is fast and friendly. The bar salsa is hot and spicy if you are looking for a kick. The food is fresh and delicious. We are never disappointed. I had the tamales which were amazing and my husband got his favorite, beef fajitas. We will definitely be back.

Great Tex-Mex joint! The prices were good, and the portions were more than enough for 2 meals for me. Great Happy Hour drink specials 4pm to 7pm. The server was extremely friendly. She brought our margaritas out right away. Once we had ordered, the food followed within 10 or 15 minutes. The food was really good. I got the Laredo combo which is a beef taco, beef & bean cholupa and cheese enchilada with rice and beans and it was more than enough for me. The enchilada was covered in what looked and tasted like nacho cheese sauce (I'm not saying it's good or bad - just depends on how you feel about it I guess). Overall a really good experience. If we are ever in the area again, I'm sure we will be back!

We stopped here to grab lunch before heading back home. It came highly recommended and we were not disappointed!!! Our waitress, I wish I would have got her name was very on top of her job. They brought out the cops and salsa and she came and promptly got our drink orders and came right back with them! We ordered a combo of their Queso and a Very good Avocado dip that was fabulous!!! We ordered our 6 year old a corn dog and waffle fries, that's what he wanted. My wife ordered the Enchilada Trio, One cheese, one beef and one chicken. Each one came with its own topping and also your choice of rice and refried beans or Barracho beans. My wife had them cut the rice and had only the refried beans. I ordered their Crawfish Enchiladas with Rice and Barracho beans, and also added two crispy beef tacos on the side. Our waitress warned me their tacos were big!!! They were!! And they were absolutely great! Their meat was seasoned just right and they didn't break apart like they do at most places, even at my favorite!!! We were really impressed with everything at our table! Their sweet tea is really good too! They had other items on their menu I would like to try the next time we're up that way! The atmosphere is really great, the people are very outgoing and friendly. It's hard to beat that combination!

Awesome 👍 place always full with plenty of seating and parking. There is a great little train 🚂 off to the side that the kids will love.they have a great selection of salsa's, and food. Inside there is a Mexican Zotar machine and they also have.

They have the best queso and chili relleno in town. Some items aren't my fav, but my main dishes that I always end up ordering are always on point. Love the marinade on the chicken and I always order my nachos on no chips so I can take my leftover home.

We really enjoy this spot. Usually, they can get us in no matter what, even when busy. Good food at good prices. And I really enjoy the margaritas.

The restaurant was beautiful it was absolutely just beautiful my little granddaughter 18 months got to eat there for the first time she loved it and we're so thankful that you are here the food was amazing the help was amazing we had the best time ❗

The chicken fajita enchiladas were so good. The portions are big and you won't leave hungry. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I grew up in Lufkin, and used to go here all the time. The service is amazing as always. The food was phenomenal just like I remember it. My fajitas picosas was cooked perfectly with so much flavor and huge portion size. The salsa was better than I remember, and the green sauce was epic as well. If you're in the area and looking for some epic Tex-Mex, check this place out!

Today is my birthday and my mom took me here. My first time at this restaurant and I loved it. Our waitress was Kelsee and she was great

Jafrena is one the best servers there! She is great!! Friendly, and answers any questions you have. Great food and service!!

The lunch specials are a great bargain. Almost too much for me, and I'm a big eater.
