The last time I ate here I think I was probably 10 years old, if that, dragged in over my protesting. I complained bitterly about the lack of Happy Meal toy at the time, but forgive me as I was just a dumb kid.

Now, some number of years that seems way too large later I returned and am I glad that I did. I'll start with the chips, they were exactly what tortilla chips should be, warm and fresh and with just the right amount of salt. The red sauce approaches perfection, it tastes fantastic and is thick enough that you can pile it up on the chips without worry about dribbling sauce everywhere as it travels to your chip-hole. Bonus, tasty, basic queso came out with the pre-ordering chips and salsa.

We had tostadas and spinach enchiladas, both were delicious as were the rice and beans on the side.

Service was great too, just an all around solid Mexican food experience and it didn't break the bank to get out the door. Will be back.

Great food! Authentic food to!! Salsa is amazing just right amount of spicy for those who love great spicy salsa and can get your mouth hot after a dozen chips or so! Staff is fast and sanitary during this pandemic! This place is popular and looks like a good hangout spot!

Great authentic Mexican food that really hits the spot. Everything is homemade and is sure to please. The chips and salsa are truly amazing but be warned it’s spicy. If you think that Taco Bell is Mexican food this will be a welcome eye opener… The original building at this location recently burned down but the owners are rebuilding on the same site and it should reopen soon. They also have another location outside of town that serves the same great food.

I've been coming here for 30+ years. And unfortunately, did to where I lived and worked, not very regularly. But, they have the BEST customer service I've ever experienced! They remember my order...every time! Amazing! And...the best crunchy tacos ever. IMO. 💜💜💜

Casa Morales is hands down the best place to eat in Lufkin. Angel is also the best waiter not only in Lufkin, but the best compared to any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Definitely my favorite place to eat.

Great service and food everytime

This is hands down the best place to eat in Lufkin. The food is amazing, the service is perfect, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I always get the enchiladas de fajitas, with either chicken or beef. The salsa is some of the best I’ve had, especially if you’re looking for something spicy.

If you’re just wanting a meal and a soda, this is the perfect place. If you’re looking to have a few drinks and eat some authentic Mexican food, the margaritas are amazing. On top of all of this, the price is reasonable. I moved from Texas to Tennessee a few years back, and this establishment reminds me that I am home.

Angel, the waiter, is by far THE BEST we've ever had!! He never has to ask what we want because he remembers after only one visit!! Great service. Food is good, although I've had better. But for Lufkin, it's hard to beat.

Absolutely wonderful food, friendly staff, and quick service. Will definitely be coming back when traveling through Lufkin. I would give Casa Morales more stars if I could.

Best Mexican restaurant in Lufkin. I’ve been coming here since 1991 and you can’t get better cheese enchiladas. Be careful with the hot sauce it has a really good flavor but it is sneaky hot. After you’ve had a few dips you’re going to need a drink handy.
